“Today was the first time we tried Ava’s ice cream and water ice. The ice cream and customer service were amazing. Everyone was very friendly and with a great happy smile. They were also quite busy and had a good crowd of people and everyone was happily enjoying their sweet treats. Glad to see the community support a great local business. “Updating: I didn't expect anything to come of my first review, but was honestly surprised. I appreciate Hickory Sticks for correcting the issue with the mistakes/miscommunication that happened with the chocolate. Like I said before the ice cream was delicious!!!

I will start by saying the ice cream was delicious.. peanut butter pie 👌👌👌..but here is my reasoning for the 1 star.

1. The paper was stuck to the waffle cone and I had to throw out the bottom 1/4 of my cone which made me sad because I wanted to eat all of it for the price. I did not want to eat paper.

2. They had these containers of 10-12 toffees and chocolate covered PB pretzels on display. We got a container of each. No price. They rang up 18 Dollars each. 18 Dollars!!! No warning or head ups. Just $18 each.

3. Now if these items tasted amazing for $18 I would not be complaining. Buttt.... The fresheness was not there. The peanuts on the almond butter crunch were stale and the pretzels was not good either.

I wish I could say more positives but I can't. Never been more sad on a trip to get ice cream.... $60 later 😭“

“This is definitely one of our favorite weekly treats. We don't like a huge menu so the flavor variety is just fine. If one of us doesn't find a flavor of water ice that we like, they just get the ice cream. For me, I am happy as long as lemon is on the menu.“
