Stopped into the downstairs bar for apps and drinks, they were great. I think this place will be a hit in the area, definitely coming back to try more of the menu. After reviewing some of the lesser star reviews i noticed those people are not regular restaurant reviewers, so id take their ratings with a grain of salt.
Had a relaxing Dinner at the bar downstairs. The service was exceptional I would recommend going just for the careing knowledge service but Mallard has much more going for it’s preference a a Culinary Destination. We had oysters shrimp escargot duck tilefish drinks bottles of wine cappuccino lemoncake. All Center City quality but in our local area. We had another fabulous dinner at this wonderful restaurant. We were entertaining a family member for the very first time and she was absolutely amazed as to how beautiful the restaurant looked. She was also impressed with the variety of menu choices. We all really enjoyed the crabcake, tomato soup and escargot for our appetizers.
