“So, last night a group of 12 of us supposedly had reservations at the 1700 steak place in the Hilton. Upon arriving they did not have our reservations. Called Bacco to see if they could accommodate our large party. They said they could. I have to say… they were fantastic! We were seated downstairs and our waitress was FANTASTIC! There were some call offs and only two servers and she handled our group like a champ. She was personable,sweet, nice and very engaging and accommodating with anything we asked! I wish I could remember her name but, unfortunately I can’t! We totally enjoyed ourselves and the food was awesome!“

“Every time I come in here I’m surprised. The bar staff is attentive, the prices are the best in the city and sometimes the owner even decides to feed everybody on a whim. There’s always a friendly person to talk to and almost everytime somebody sends a drink my way. Each time i see improvements being done to the interior too. I’m sad that I moved further away right as this place was gaining traction. Truly a hometown hero spot that welcomes everybody. Almost makes you want to keep it a secret but then that wouldn’t help them. Come in for a drink afterwork. Its something different.“

“What a great find during a recent weekend in Harrisburg. Our server, Maria, was outstanding - knowledgeable, very friendly, and fun. Other staff members were also very accommodating and gracious. I particularly enjoyed the whipped ricotta app and arugula and beet salad. Highly recommend!“

The security was nice n did their job well, the barmaid was prompt with her service n I like the fact that they have protection shields at the bar that separates the customers from the barmaids... “I had a nice time in Queenies, but unfortunately I can't frequent there bcuz I am a heart patient and there was a couple chain smoking I couldn't breath I had triple bypass heart surgery in November 2023 bcuz I was Harrisburg's highest paid barmaid back in the day when fab's Earnestine porters bars were open I bartended for 13 1/2 years and the second hand cigarette smoke is what gave me my triple bypass heart surgery, and since I had my surgery and I NEVER SMOKED CIGARETTES! ( I only smoked weed) But after my surgery I vowed to never smoke or be around second hand smoke ever again I'm goin to be gud to my heart, so even tho I had fun while there I can't go back, due to the cigarette smoke...sry queenies 🤗 I take my life seriously“
