Blue Moose Bar & Grille

Service is always the same, good. Food is consistently good, though slightly pricey for bar-food. I'd come back more often if the place was more family oriented (small children). My favorite option is off the appetizer menu, being the Poutin, which is also is enough of a meal to fill up a big guy (me), without needing a main course.

Solid dinner option with great service! Dreaded the ownership change but it appears things are going to work out just fine. The wings have, in my opinion, improved minus not always being the hottest (temperature). The menu has grown (A+ for adding Gluten Free options), and the beer list is adequate. TRY THE CHICKEN POT PIE! After the ownership change, the first few visits left me questioning if the service would ever come to par with the food. Thankfully it has!

I just need to be blunt with this review. I order the crabcake with mac & cheese and shaved fried brussel sprouts. The crabcake would have been amazing if it was cooked a bit longer. It was full of big chunks of crab meat, but undercooked and cold. The mac & cheese was bland. And the fried brussel sprouts were good but so greasy. My husband ordered the bacon cheeseburger and the "homemade" shrimp egg rolls. The burger was cooked as ordered but room temperature when it arrived....read full review
