Really enjoyed the neighborhood vibe of this cool coffee shop in downtown Harrisburg. Even though I arrived just 15 min before closing, they were so kind to make the perfect Latte and allow me time to enjoy. The staff is exceptionally friendly. Perfect!

I love this place so incredibly much. It is a staple in the community and has done so much to enrich the lives of everyone around. We’re lucky to have such a great cafe and coffee roaster around that isn’t a major corporation. Support local!

Baphanette is not my cup.
Had their coffee at Millworks and had to see the actual location to get more. Wonderful coffee and inclusive atmosphere, totally comfortable as an out of towner to Harrisburg. They even offered to grind the coffee beans that we purchased to bring home! Definitely recommend if you are passing through hershey/hburg or are in the area

A hidden gem. As the best places usually are. Had a most delicious and full bodied Latte at this new spot in Uptown Harrisburg. Flavor was not lost or disguised. Just a genuinly great cup served in an unexpectedly hip shop. Go Enjoy!

Quality third wave specialty coffee. Chemex pourover of a Colombian Natural process coffee was excellent and a they have a great variety of freshly roasted bags of beans to take home. Got to try some batch brew as well which was very nice. Good selection of small bites to go with your beverage.

I got some of their fresh roasted beans to brew in my at home espresso setup and I can't recommend them enough!!
Didn't even make it in the door with out nearly injuring myself. I was walking down the street thinking about getting a hot drink when I hit some black ice right in front of this place. I almost fell and could have been seriously injured as I was not expecting a sheet of ice. Numerous other portions of the sidewalk were safe and passable but not in front of this place no salt just ice. So I decided if a business cares so little for the safety of its customers and employees they have to walk the same sidewalk. Then I do not care enough to give this establishment any business.

The coffee was super overpriced and was very bitter. It tasted like pure acid.

After more than ten years of supporting this place, I'm done. I've been buying coffee at Elementary since it opened and yet every time I come in I'm glared at. I rarely ever get the sense I'm at all welcome.
Yesterday was the final straw. I got an email stating my 5lbs of ground coffee were ready for pick up. I was told previously to "just grab it off the shelf" if I see my order.
While I was doing so, I was snapped at for potentially violating other customer's privacy.
I understand the reasoning behind keeping personal information for at risk people private. That's fine. What isn't fine is that I've been coming for ten years and I still get treated like an unwelcome invader.

I would not buy their beans again. I found them to be very finicky to give a good brew. Tried a lot of different methods, grinds, and ratios to no avail.
My go-to local coffee when I’m out. The employees are kind and helpful and the atmosphere of the shop itself is very warm and welcoming.

My cold brew was delicious and the vibes inside were just what I was looking for. Pop in if you’re nearby.
