“I had been wanting to try Thea since they opened and finally had a chance to go for dinner last night. Overall, Thea was a great experience! The appetizers were my favorite. We got the calamari and fried buratta (which was a special). My entree was the meatloaf which wasn't as great as I had hoped, but also not bad. I want to go back and try a pasta dish next time and also dessert (they all sounded fantastic). Reservations recommended and BYOB!“

“The appetizers were amazing. The pastrami seasoned salmon was delicious. If you enjoy salmon order this. The sausage and fried eggplant was very good.I ordered the Porterhouse. I ordered it medium rare, it was slightly overcooked. Still a delicious cut of steak.Wife enjoyed the rack of lamb. Cooked perfectly. We skipped the dessert tray options, everything looked fantastic, just too full to indulge.Full stocked bar, anything you can imagine they can deliver.“

“Overall: Three generations of my family have been eating at Progress Grill for 20+ years. Stepping into the restaurant is almost like stepping into a time capsule, in the best way possible. The atmosphere, much of the wait staff, and the standard (especially with the crab cakes!) have not slipped an inch. Appetizers: French Onion Soup ($7) - A relatively mild, but tasty onion broth, with plentiful bread and perfect amount of melted cheese. One of the best onion soups around! Oysters Rockefeller ($16) - These oysters were large and tasty, and the garlicky spinach helped make for a great bite. Entrees: Crab Cakes w/ French Fries + Baked Potato ($40) - This is the gold standard for crab cakes. BIG lumps, only a little filler, and perfect flavor, broiled to a crispy perfection on the outside. We are forever searching for a crab cake that meets this high bar, and we have yet to find it.“
