You need to go back to using the cardboard cartons again. I hate those plastic dishes. There’s not nearly the amount of food that used to be stuffed under the cardboard cartons. And if you’re not gonna do that, then at least start regulating the amount of vegetables that you stick in the dishes. Every time I order beef and broccoli, the plate is about 3/4 broccoli and one quarter meat. You guys used to do a much better job. Time to get back on point again and maybe then I’ll give you five stars. I am a food connoisseur. Everyone should read my reviews because I am the best There is, the best. There was, and the best there ever will be. Why? because I come from a family of cooks.

Hello, I am from Maryland and recently relocated to Harrisburg. I have been trying restaurants in this area and some good and some where awful, but Hong Kong city was EXCELLENT! I haven't been much of a fan of Chinese food since I was a kid because back then Chinese food was soo good but it seem to have gotten just average. Today I decided to give it a shot just because I wanted something different. I ordered for delivery 10 spare ribs, shrimp egg fo young and two egg rolls, one pork and one shrimp. Delivery guy was as sweet as pie. The shrimp egg fo young took me immediately to my childhood, it was soooo delicious and shrimp in every bite. The ribs tasted fresh and cooked to perfection and not a lack of meat AT ALL. The egg rolls were in my opinion just average but good too. When I got the food it was still piping hot too.My compliments to the chef, and thank you for taking me back to a kid when food was excellent and restoring my faith in your cuisine! My new favorite Chinese restaurants!!!! UPDATE: 8/1/25 Because the food was so awesome on July 18th I ordered again but I decided to try different things. I got the teriyaki chicken sticks, egg foo young again, chicken and cashews, and beef and broccoli. Today the egg foo young was taste less like it was missing ingredients, the teriyaki chicken had nooo hint of teriyaki on them just chicken on a stick, cashew chicken was decent but not great, and the beef and broccoli was on point. So I would say this restaurant is inconsistent!! Imma have to take back my new favorite restaurant and take a few stars with it. Who ever cooked today needs lessons from the person that cooked July 18th. Advise, the key to egg foo young is the gravy and today it lacked all flavor.

We have been coming here for over a year and are never disappointed. The eggplant and shrimp in garlic sauce is fantastic! The chicken lo mein is flavorful and you get large portions of everything.

I always enjoy the food. I tend to pick-up because it is close to shopping and work. It is always ready on time and hot. The shrimp egg rolls are my favorite in the area.

BEWARE!!! Don’t order from here if you want correct food delivered. Horrendous experience - 3 hours of work to get a refund. Barely spoke English, had to call 9 times. Ruined my whole night. If you order online, they cannot help you with the order. This place used to be great, it is now terrible. Stay away!

pork fried rice was so bland. general tso’s chicken was.. sweet? not bad but usually has a spiciness to it at other places. veggie lo mein had little to no noodles, SO MANY veggies. delivery took over an hour when originally quoted 30 minutes.
