Four of us went for sushi. We have loved this place in the past, but since they dropped the franchise, it has gone downhill. Took 2 hours to not get my complete sushi order, under poured drinks and mixed up bills. The rolls were overpriced and very small. Do yourself a favor and go someplace else, like 7-11, if you want sushi. I will not be returning
It just was not good! Chef didn’t put on much of a show, food was mediocre, plus you have to pay EXTRA for fried rice🤦🏼♀️. The rice also barely had any veggies in it. Veggies lacked. I believe it was broccoli and zucchini.
I’ll take Mikados in MECHANICSBURG any day. Much much better.
Benihanas used to be the BEST but once Kajimachi took over it went to crap.
I’m usually not one to write reviews but hopefully this will save someone time. We came on a Sunday, around 5pm and were only the 2nd family dining in the sushi bar area. It took about 30 minutes just to get one plate of sashimi. Our 2nd sushi roll took about 10 more minutes to come out and then by the time the 3rd roll was ready, our waiter was outside smoking and it just sat there until he finished his smoke break. Kajimachi Japanese Steakhouse offers a fantastic dining experience with incredible food and great chefs that entertain. The restaurant stands out for its clean and relaxing atmosphere, with a beautiful interior decor and exceptional, friendly staff. It offers hibachi and very enjoyable sushi, with fresh, quality ingredients. Seating around the sushi making station is the best in the house. The service is absolutely amazing and the staff is so welcoming. On-site parking is available.
