Ordered the chicken chowmein and the chicken was hard and dry (like tandoori chicken) and not tender like chowmein meat should be. There was no bartender for mixed drinks and from what I witnessed the beer was warm, the sushi guy (who was trying to help the manager/owner who was doing everything) who brought out the beer couldnβt use the beer opener so the customer did it. The sushi we ordered sat on the sushi counter for 10 min before it was brought over because another customer said something. We also overheard the (owner? manager?) excuse cross contamination of their saki with rice when heating when a customers saki came out with stuff floating in it. The manager person was saying itβs okay itβs just rice from the container we heat it in because they use the same container. We had to ask for drink refills, plate for the meal, chopsticks and the table was sticky.
I really hate leaving this review because we used to love this place (I think I left a glowing review 2 years ago) something changed like 8ish? months ago and it has gone down hill. I hope it changes for the better and they pay a little more attention to details.

I liked Felicia but the woman that checked me out was clearly paying more attention to other guests. Her name was Sonam T. I meant for my tip to go to Felicia.

The food was delicious. I had two sushi rolls (dynamite, and yam) and aalu paratha, mom had chicken tandoori and garlic naan. They were all wonderful. The naan was out of this world. The paratha was really good too, first time trying that, ever.
Service was good.
The building might be a bit dated but as long as the food is good, who cares.
I personally don't like hibachi, so I was glad to be leaving right as that started up, but that's a me thing (I don't like loud and exciting stuff).
Over all I'd come back if I was ever in town again.

Stopped in as we were traveling through and felt like we discovered a hidden gem. The service was really nice and the food was great. I had Indian and my partner had sashimi prepared by a real sushi chef. Nice vibe including a beautiful fish tank. Would definitely visit again.

BEWARE before you go to this restaurant. My very large family (7 siblings and spouses go there quite often, but this last time we decided NEVER AGAIN!!!!! They jacked the prices up by $9 for the combos that we normally get at the hibachi and they didn't make enough food to go around for everyone so they gave us each a mouthful of veggies. The rice was very plentiful, but the steaks are tinier than ever. My whole family vowed to never go back!!!!!!!!!
They also need to update the me up and PRICES on their website. Im sure they'll be out of business by the end of the year if this keeps up! So disappointed as we loved this place!

Wanted to complement our excellent service from Felicia. So sweet and accommodating. Will definitely make Shangrila a stop on our future travels

I asked for extra hot biriyani and it was really extra hot. I could feel the spicy flavor right on opening the box. π

Super nice people but the food and atmosphere were not great. The food is basic and not seasoned well. The place needs an entire makeover. Cushions have holes in them, using red cafeteria cups for water. LED strip lights peels off the walls. I donβt recommend

We had a large order to go for a late dinner with guests. Everything was delicious. Butter chicken remains the favorite followed closely by the steak Hibachi beef fried rice. Very fast ordering and pickup.

Not a good place to eat at. Dishes were all dirty. Food was not good, and if you placed a reservation they didn't have it saved. They just went off your word if you had one.
Always nice and friendly. Owner takes time to meet with patrons and thank them for their business. And of course great food!

Last night we went to this restaurant and the service was horrible. Took 45 min to get a club soda, 2 members of our party didnβt get their drink or appetizers they ordered, and the food was just ok. Our server never came back after taking our order, so no refills on any water or any other beverage. After waiting 20 minutes for our check, a member of our party had to go get them and then take them back up to get cards run! We were patient and nice, but every time we ask about something we were missing our server got mad and left the table. Not to mention that because of where we were tested, the appetizers that did come out, and one personβs entree, had to be passed down from one end of the table to the other, having every person at the table touching the dish and breathing over it

We get sushi to go and everything is always correct in our order. They are always on time and the service in the restaurant always looks happy and fun at the hibachi. We have gotten hibachi before and it was very yummy and enjoyed the show. Would recommend for special occasions and large groups

The hibachi food was great and served in big portions. We had the table to ourselves since there were no other customers that night, and even though they were close to closing, they still allowed us to dine in. Since we were staying at the hotel next door, we also received a 5% discount on the food. Overall, our hibachi experience was great.
