This place was seriously the best. The people were the nicest too. It was my family‘s first time in a restaurant like that. They gave us free sandwich, coupons and brownies for our road trip 10 out of 10 experience. The brisket was delicious and I will be back.

We went for the first time this past weekend and returned within the same week 🤣 John at Mission BBQ. He is hands-down one of the friendliest, most personable service people we have ever encountered. From the moment we walked in, John from Mission BBQ in Harrisburg, PA made us feel genuinely welcome.
If you get the chance to be helped by him, you’re in for excellent service. This is exactly the kind of person every restaurant hopes to have on their team.

Edit to update. I was craving barbecue so I showed up. The hours said they closed at 9:00, and I showed up at 9:02. The door was open, so I went in and asked if I was too late. They were putting away all the food and cleaning up. Jonathan asked what I wanted, and turned around to the others and told them to make me some dinner. They cheerfully pulled the food back out, made me a delicious meal, and treated me so nicely. Friendly people, happy smiles, and I went home with a full belly. Absolute a+

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Amazing customer service! I walked in right as they were closing, and even though they were already shut down, the staff still had my order ready and generously gave it to me for free. They didn’t have to do that at all, but they went out of their way to be kind and welcoming. Food was great as always, but the service is what really stood out. Huge respect to the team—this is why Mission BBQ has such a great reputation. Thank you soooo much

I stopped by about 20 minutes before close. I’m a frequent customer, and enjoying grabbing Mission on my way home. Today’s visit, like always, was great. The food amazing and the service is phenomenal. I wanted to shout out Bryn. ( She told me she has worked for Mission for almost 3 years.)
She was amazing. Great attitude, great customer service, truly seems to take pride in her work.
On another note, I couldn’t help but notice the cook at the time. He had maybe bluish/blonde hair, pretty short hair, and seemed to be biracial. I didn’t speak with him but he was clearly upset at the fact that I visited the restaurant at a late time. I understand, I work restaurant too, but he was slamming the doors to the stand-up refrigerator, slamming the scoops, and the knives down on the counter. Had no smile AT-ALL, and made me feel as though I shouldn’t have been there.
Nonetheless, Bryn really stood out to me. As a fellow restaurant manager, I would hire her at my establishment!

Went here for the first time and it will definitely not be the last!! From the employee who took the time to explain the menu, to the delicious bbq and sides, to the great atmosphere, to the manager who checked on us multiple times and gave us complimentary cobbler ... this place was the best!! Thank you for a great meal and I will definitely be back!!
Went for a quick dinner yesterday, and was thoroughly disappointed in the food. Got brisket and smoked sausage. Both were extremely dry. The smoked sausage was borderline tough to swallow. Mac and cheese was good. Cornbread was dry. Staff was extremely nice though.

Definitely over priced we ordered chicken bbq n pulled pork sandwiches so dry the flavor was good but omg way to dry. Sides we had Mac n cheese which some reason tasted like it had crab in it and was not a fan of the baked beans.
