Really expected good pizza being PA, cheap mozzarella with plastic texture, no sauce on it, thin slices with cheap flour ..

Pizza is always solid here. Past couple of times the cheese hasn't seemed right. Has an odd texture for mozzarella. Seems like it's maybe a mozzarella blend. Not sure if ingredients changed or not.

I’m only leaving 2 stars because of their Stromboli, but the cheesesteak subs were small, soggy, and on pre-made bread, not fresh or handmade. Very poor quality. I don’t know if this place is under new management, but the new crew lacks customer service. No greeting, no hello—you literally have to walk up to the counter just to be acknowledged. I’ve sat and watched as people walk in and no one says a word unless you go directly to the counter. The older crew made the food and treated customers 10x better than this. I won’t be getting any more food here. There are plenty of other restaurants that offer fresher, better quality subs than Papa Joe’s.

Genuinely one of the best new york style pizzas you can get within an hour of Harrisburg, the only place to rival might be sals pizza in dover, most of Harrisburgs pizza isnt worth a dime but this place is fantastic.
