This place was amazing from the ambiance to the service to the food until we got the bill. I 100% agree that servers should make more $$$ but instead of the restaurant paying the servers what they deserve, they force it in the bill and over 23%, which was infuriating to me. A tip is meant to be optional. If service is terrible, a patron should not be expected to leave the “average” tip. I would consider myself an above average tipper but having it forced on me will make...
This was a wonderful restaurant to eat at for Valentine’s Day. Just across the street from the capitol building this was such a lovely and intimate place to celebrate. We were seated on the top level and able to see down and watch the bartenders work. It was a beautiful space. The wait staff was wonderful and our server was especially great. The cocktails, both alcoholic and non, were delicious. The food was amazing and decadent. We had the pate, the duck and lobster ravioli...
