I travel for work and use IHG and Hilton. However, my last stay at the Embassy Suites in Laredo was a disaster and it is obviously mismanaged.
1. Two elevators, 1 was out. Was not informed at check-in. Rode on the other one to second floor and barely made it. After I decided to go get dinner, realized 2nd elevator wasn't working.
2. Hotel smelled of mildew throught out hotel, worse in my room.
