I made a stopover there on my Trip to Kentucky and I really liked the location. I ordered one of the Burger with Sweet potatoe fries which were made fresh cutted. Also there is a nice selection of donuts and Cookies.
Very good food, but very short staffed, so order well in advance so that you’re not waiting behind a ton of door dash orders.
We ordered the Bahn Mi sandwich and the Eggplant Reuben, and a side of mac and cheese. Such a delicious, flavorful meal! The meals we ordered came with amazing strawberry lemonade and cookies for dessert. Yum! Yum!This restaurant was mentioned in the Hershey RV Show's local guide. So happy we took a motorcycle ride into Harrisburg.
I was visiting from Florida and tried The Vegetable Hunter in Harrisburg for the first time and wow what a treat! The atmosphere is lively yet cozy, and the staff made me feel welcome right away. The food was absolutely amazing, fresh, flavorful, and creative. I had the vegan cheesesteak with sweet potato fries, and both were fantastic. For dessert, the gingerbread cupcake was the perfect sweet ending: moist, spiced just right, and memorable. I also love that the menu is completely vegan, so I could order anything with confidence. It’s rare to find a place that delivers on both taste and vibe like this one does. Definitely worth a stop if you’re in town.
I pass through Harrisburg every few months and always try to stop here. The BBQ chicken mac and cheese sandwich and the chickpea salad are my favorites on the menu and they seem to have some new options added frequently.
Everything we ordered was great. I really appreciate all the tofu options and homemade sauces and components to each dish. The menu rocked! We got the eggplant reuben and tofu bah mi, and both sandwiches were fantastic! The loaded vegan nachos were delicious, and the house made cheese was perfecrion. We just moved here and can't wait tonreturn.
Got a couple of Bahn Mi sandwiches to go while visiting Harrisburg for the evening. Adam served us. Can’t say enough nice and positive things about the service and food. Outstanding! Thank you and safe travels.
My family of 3 enjoyed 3 plates (BBQ Mac and cheese chikn sandwich, Reuben and superfood bowl) with two amazing desserts and left stuffed with fantastic food and a box of leftovers. Great options, great service. Very close to Elementary coffee.
loved the kitschy vibe: first floor is more coffee shop, second more gastro-pub. It was a bit warm inside. There are a ton of interesting options, and an onsite brewery at a vegan restaurant is a dream come true. I really liked the English Invasion beer, which almost tastes like one of those alcoholic iced teas. Got the chicken and pumpkin waffles, which was an extremely solid effort. The "chicken" was clearly breaded tofu when seitan might have been a better option, but I left quite full and the bill was very reasonable.
Great restaurant and staff! Visited recently with my daughter and after a delicious meals we drove an hour and a half home only to realize that we left a bag with several important items inside. We couldn’t get back for days, but the owner kept our belongings safe for us and we got to enjoy a bonus meal! Loved the kale salad, Mac and cheese, fried tofu sandwich, steak sandwich, eggplant Reuben and chocolate chip cookies!

I really like the chickn sandwiches. The pulled pork sandwich was pretty good, but I didn't like the pesto grilled cheese very much. They had a donut but it was just chocolate cake in the shape of a donut. The kale and chickpea salads are very good.
Came off of the highway to grab dinner and it was totally worth the detour. The food was creative, fresh, and flavorful and the portions were generous. Highly recommend
If you’re looking for a dining experience that belongs on “Gordon Ramsay’s Kitchen Nightmares,” this vegan restaurant is ready for its close-up. We waited at the front desk so long I thought Gordon himself might burst in yelling, “Shut it down!” When the manager finally showed up, he handed us menus like he was tossing life preservers to shipwreck survivors. We’d already memorized the menu at this point. We should have aborted right there and then but we were starving as we’ve been traveling through PA from NYC and were desperate for a vegan option.
We decided to sit outside, right by the stairs, which turned out to be the VIP section for “creative” service. Instead of walking down and around to serve us, the manager just passed our food down from the stairs like he was delivering rations to prisoners. Now, about the food: The crab cake pita was a one-bite disaster. My wife’s bahn mi was a slight improvement, but let’s be honest, it wasn’t a bahn mi. The tofu was uncooked, and it came with a mystery brown sauce that left us more confused than satisfied. The sweet potato fries arrived late and tasted like they’d just completed a long journey from the frozen food aisle.
I wish I could give this place 0 stars. But I guess 1 star is justified since he didn’t even bat an eye when my wife said the food was inedible and we should only be charged for the bahn mi since we did take 5 bites of it.
If you want a meal, keep walking. If you want an appearance in the next episode of “Kitchen Nightmares,” this is your spot!
I am delighted to share my experience with the food. The vegan mac and cheese was absolutely incredible. Also, I must say that the vegan nachos were delightful and very satisfying. Moreover, the menu offered numerous other delicious options as well. Overall, it was a truly amazing and delicious experience.
