Vino Italian Restaurant

I have lived in lower Paxton for seven years. And never knew about this gem. Today I decided to go in for takeout. It’s a bit loud. But not too terribly bad. It’s a very small restaurant. Not much room and tables are fairly close together.
The waiter was phenomenal. Very attentive and helpful. Took my order and even gave me a a full menu to take home. Was very helpful since it was my first time there. I think it was the owner that came over to make sure I was taken care of. Very pleased and impressed. He seemed to watch over everything. The kitchen staff smiled at me. After the owner came over, the bartender offered me a drink while I waited. He was very busy but stayed very friendly and professional.
Everyone was very friendly and attentive. The food was really good. I’m not a big bread eater and I wasn’t a fan of their bread either. It would’ve been nicer if it was toasted. Other than that, I loved everything
Standard pricing. Would highly recommend over noodles and Company and Olive Garden. I will be back again for takeout.

Good food but... Its 82° out today and it is cooler outside than inside Vino. When I asked why the air wasn't on, I was told the owner wasn't allowing them to turn it on.

Great food at a great price. Ask for trey as a server, simply the best. Joe takes pride in having you as a customer

If you were interested to try a new place with good ratings ( like we were) you will be disappointed. The food was mediocre at best. Two veal dishes , Cardinale and the one with Crab , were both underwhelming , the veal and crab was covered in a glob of cheese floating in butter. It was gross. Sorry, to go out and spend 100+ on a meal for two, we expected more .

Super impressed! Excellent food and the service was TOP NOTCH! Bravo to the server/manager Trey as he made our family feel so welcomed and attended every detail WITH JOY! Prices are very reasonable and did I say the food was great?? Delish!! I will be returning!

hi. I ate at Vino's today with friends. the food was great. we liked the stuffed mushrooms & calamari. the desserts were good also especially the canoli ice cream with Armaretto.

First visit to Vino and ordered the chicken saltimbocco. Excellent dish that was full of flavor and fresh sage! I don't find that many Italian restaurants serve this dish. Will definitely return next time traveling through PA.

*DISAPPOINTED * My wife and I use to stop in here quite a bit for dinner. We live a little farther away and have not been there for a while. Wow has this place changed.
We were greeted by the hostess who looked like a war protester off the street. She wore a large bandana over her head, baggy sweat pants, black combat boots and the finishing touch was a scowl face. She pointed to two tables and said pick one.
I ordered a crab cake and my wife had a steak. The steak was not as we remembered it had a good taste but a little tough, I had the crab cake that I always got here. I could not even eat it I left 3/4 of it on the plate to throw away. They apparently have decided to use the cheapest canned pasteurized crab meat they could find(no fresh meat) and tried to doctor it up but no taste and texture was like shredded garbage. We both had the spaghetti which is always good. The whole place has changed from staff to atmosphere. The new staff is not near as friendly as the old staff and they really rush you to turn the tables I think because of how small the place is . We will not be back. If any manager from Vinos is reading this either have your hostess dress appropriately and have her take off her scowl or get rid of her. Also, check the quality of food the cook is ordering. Buying cheap is not always the best.😩😩😩

Had reservations for 11 plus a baby on 8-2-25. Staff, food, and service were exceptional! Our group was treated first class from beginning to end. Thanks to everyone for making a family gathering special!!

Great pasta, all four of us enjoyed our meals and had leftovers. It’s not much to look at from the outside but it’s decent inside and the food was excellent. Our server was very professional.

What a great little gem! My husband and i were there this week and had a wonderful meal! Everything was delicious. I had the pacchieri with salmon and the sauce was absolutely fabulous!
