I stopped at Yianni's Gyros in York for a quick bite on my way home from the craft store, lol.. The perfect day, right? So good!! I am Greek and I was very happy with the food and atmosphere. They have all gyro meats on rotisserie and some hard to find desserts! I ate a couple Dolmades and half my Gyro, brought the rest home for dinner, later 😆. Excellent customer service; The server Lisa was so fun and personable, we geeked out about greek food and foraging. Nostimos Poli!!

Stopped by for a quick dinner when arriving in town late on a weekday. It was late, but many people were still stopping in for pickup and delivery orders. I ate in and there were plenty of tables.
Service was extremely friendly and helpful. Although it was counter ordering, they still delivered my order, stopped by during the meal, and came to cleanup during my meal. Ordered a Traditional Gyro with Greek Fries and Baklava Cheesecake for dessert.
Gyro was generously filled lamb and beef as well as veggies. Greek Fries were a very large order that I couldn't finish. Food was great, but the Cheesecake Baklava was amazing. I would come back just for the dessert.

We recently visited a charming Greek restaurant and were thoroughly impressed! I opted for the lamb and beef gyro, while my wife chose the chicken souvlaki. Both dishes were excellent. The meat was flavorful and tender, and the freshness of the ingredients really shone through. The tzatziki sauce was clearly homemade and absolutely delicious – a perfect complement to our meals. Went for the first time and food has no flavor. Not what I'm used to when getting a gyro bowl. The grape leaves was cold and they don't give enough sauce so if you take out that 1 container won't be enough and you have to pay for more. The fries had too much feta cheese and nothing to season it with, no sauce or ketchup. The rice was hard, like it wasn't fully cooked. Tried it but won't go back, no one in my family ate it and usually someone will at least try and make it good but nothing helped

If you don’t eat here, then what are you doing? This place is fantastic in both taste and assistance, and I’m genuinely surprised and pretty disappointed that this place doesn’t have a Michelin star yet.

They have a few appetizers I have not seen/heard of before and sound very interesting. Their Greek cheeseballs are very good, as are their stuffed grape leaves. My daughter got the All American Cheeseburger as she wasn't sure about trying anything else, but it was made perfectly and very juicy. The bun was very soft. And their desserts are indescribable! 😋
This is just a great little place to stop by and eat something. I was not allowed to eat at the Jimmy John's next door because of my service dog Neal. This worked out much better. Not only do they follow federal laws but is a great place to eat.
I had a Gyro and Fries. Neal has some Gyro meat. The food was great and the staff was Neal. It is a clean and well kept establishment. The next time I am in town I will be sure to stop here.
