“Sunday was my first visit to Zakes Cafe. The food was tremendous. I had the blueberry pancakes, the home fries, and bacon. However, the potatoes and the bacon were cold when they reached the table. I realized that the restaurant was busy, so I did not send anything back. I will return. However, if the food is cold again, I will send it back. Also, the coffee was very, very good.“

“I wanted to leave a review to both rave about your fantastic baked goods and to thank you. My Mom suffered with gluten intolerance and then celiacs. This took away her ability to enjoy some of her favorite foods. We tried to find substitutes at the local grocery stores but nothing really took the place of her favorite baked goods. Finding you was a miracle! She loved your cookies, bread and Pumpkin Pie!! She looked forward to me bringing home her favorites and surprises like your pretzels and cinnamon buns each week. She just passed away a couple weeks ago but the memories of her enjoying your delicious treats will give me a smile every time I think about those times. Thank you for what you do to bring delicious baked goods to those with gluten intolerance.“

“Got my grandsons 1st birthday cake here. Jackie made some suggestions but wasn’t pushy at all. I was so impressed by the look and the taste of the cake! It was a smash cake but tasted so much better than his birthday cake which was gotten elsewhere. She is professional and so easy to deal with. I will be getting my grandsons 2nd birthday cake here in July. P.S. get the butter cake. You will NOT be disappointed!!“

“I love Sweetah’s! I’ve been coming for over 5 years now, and it’s a staple in the neighborhood! Under new ownership, the recipes are the same and still taste amazing. They’ve been creating new treats, too. The atmosphere is always welcoming and warm. I love being able to request baked goods through Instagram and then going to get them the next day. Without a doubt, you need to try the crumb cake and marbled pumpkin loaf!!!! Love this little shop!“

Parking: they have meters for pay but if you are running in real quick I wouldn't pay.“

“I have rode by this Bakery many times heading to the Amish Market with my husband. When I saw her on social media it made us want to pay the Philly Cake Lady a visit. I know she is known for her Pistachio Cake but her Chocolate Chocolate Cake won me over and I like the nice size slices too. Now I judge every chocolate cake by hers. If doesn’t taste close to PCL I don’t want to waste my money.“

“At first I though the place was closed but you have to ring the bell and they will come from the back and open the door and I went inside and smelled fresh baked goodies.I ordered the plain cheese cake and the butter bunt cake took it home me and the hubby tore it up very moist bunt cake with icing but the Cheescake stole the show whipped to perfetion with a surprise cake frosting on top. “I started going here after trying a cake (lemon chocolate walnut cake) at a friends house. It was soo delicious and fresh and she told me about this place here. Everything i have tried here such as cannolis, the cakes, and the honey cake and walnut sourcream cake has been amazing and fresh. The lady is very nice too, this is why I am leaving a review. Im pretty surprised tho that their star ratings are low, they deserve more stars.“
