“We ate here for the first time on Saturday. It was crowded (good sign!) yet we were seated quickly. The staff was very friendly and the food was great! The place is kept very clean and it's a cheerful, welcoming place. We'd definitely recommend it. We love their sister location, Peeps, in Harleysville as well!“

“This feels like the kind of diner every local grandpa meets his buddies. Good food. Good prices. The fair is pretty standard, nothing fancy, but well prepared. All in all it's pretty much what you'd want from a small local diner.“

“I have been to Michael's for dinner several times. The food is good, as is the service. It is clean and modern. It is a bit of a ride from my house, but I go there whenever I'm in the area. There is plenty of variety on the menu, and there are daily specials.“

“Finally stopped for breakfast for the first time after passing by almost every day for the past 5 years. Visited early in the morning for breakfast so it was quiet and traffic wasn’t as bad as it usually is in the area. No complaints. Breakfast was good. Served quickly. Felt homey. Typical good options and fair prices. Would eat breakfast here again.“

“West Main Diner in Lansdale, looks like a traditional Pennsylvania urban luncheonette, but also serves as a community meeting hall. On Sunday morning it was almost full house with seniors enjoying their social life with friends and neighbors. There were younger families, too, but white hairs predominated. Why? Because even with post pandemic inflation coming under control, food prices are still higher than before, and you get more bang for your buck here. For people on fixed or other retirement income, West Main Diner is about the only welcome sign on the horizon. For this, it deserves a lot of credit. Beyond that, the grub there is pretty darn good as well. I sat at the counter in one of eight spinners overlooking the short order grill and coffee operation. Always the best place in the house for a solo traveler wanting breakfast. Menu and coffee arrived quickly. Debbie, my server answered my questions and took my order with pleasant demeanor. The house was busy, so it took almost 15 minutes for my Country Omelet (sausage, tomato, onion, green pepper, hash browns and rye toast) to arrive before me. No problem. The activity in the dining room and at the grill kept me entertained. I watched my omelet being assembled as the cook and her assistants joked with each other. When placed before me, it was steaming. Some black pepper and shakes of Tabasco, and I was ready to dive in. The eggs were perfectly moist and packed with ingredients. The taters were crispy and the rye toast buttered well. Liked it all very much. The only shortcomings were the issue around Yelp offering a free coffee @ check in, when that perk didn't exist according to management, and not being offered more coffee when I had bottom-upped my mug before finishing the meal. My sense was that they were closing at 2, and she wanted to start cleaning up her station at the counter and wanted me out of the way. I can understand that, but how much better to offer a refill and work around me for a few more minutes? This institution is still worthy of high grades despite minor inconvenience.“

“The food was great but the service was even better. Our server, Breanna was amazing and took care of us without having to ask. This location is always solid in terms of the food but they give you a more personal experience that makes the experience even better.“

“Just wanted to try a new place for breakfast and we were not disappointed. Food was good, service was attentive and the inside has that homey diner feel. Prices were very reasonable.Parking: There's free parking all around the building but it's a bit cramped and a little awkward to navigate so be careful.“

“I went to dinner with a friend I hadn't seen in a while, we were sitting and talking and honestly lost track of time. We ordered soup, dinner and coffee/tea at the end of our meal ( we were going to get dessert but the choices were very limited). At 8:10, a woman walks over and says... Pay your check so we can close out and the waitress can go home, in a very abrupt and rude manner. I asked when do you close? She says 8:00! I honestly didn't know and there were three other tables still sitting there. I get it, we were there for a while, but come to us sooner and we would have understood that it was closing time. So, I handed the woman my card and she walked off in a huff. My friend and I gathered our things and I walked up to the young lady at the register who was very apologetic and advised most people don't realize they close that early. There was definitely a better way to handle this. I was disappointed . We also observed the waitress getting annoyed, but didn't know why, if she would have just said something.....“
