My wife and I visited our daughter in Hawley, and this place didn't disappoint! She made us caramel macchiatos even though they were not on the menu, and they were perfect. The waterfall in the back was incredible!

Cappuccino and chai pumpkin latte were great! Nice seating area for a relaxing chat over coffee. Street parking. Thank you to both baristas. They were super helpful and friendly. They assisted us in deciphering what to do with the parking ticket we got as out of town visitors.

Very cool little coffee shop in downtown Hawley. The coffee is outstanding, and the couches and chairs were very comfortable. It was a great way to get out of the heat and enjoy our drinks.

The quality and flavor of their beans are the reason I'm giving a 4-star rating. While the ambiance of the location is nice, the drinks are inconsistent and the pastries are mediocre. Their beans make fantastic espressos and pour-overs at home, though, so I highly recommend stopping in for a bag of whole beans.

Gone are the days when great service was just part of the job. Coffee lid did not fit the cup so spilled the whole thing once I got outside. Pastry was ice cold, no offer to heat it up, just told where the microwave is which was dirty inside. There were no customers after me. In the end there was no "thank you".
We have been coming to Black and Brass for a few months now and are never disappointed. The coffee drinks, both cold and hot, are delicious and well made. The food items are wonderful. Service is friendly and exceptional. Come in and check them out. You won’t be disappointed.

What a great coffee spot! We stopped here for coffee and a little snack and absolutely loved this place! It's cozy inside, but sitting outside is a treat because there's a waterfall out back. I had the raspberry vanilla latte which was divine! My husband had the raspberry iced tea which he said was very refreshing. We each had a chocolate covered biscotti which was so yummy. Definitely recommend, and can't wait to go back!

Absolutely adore it here. All the baristas are so kind and make the drinks perfectly. I would frequently come here to study and drink some coffee, and the atmosphere was always relaxing and nice. Highly recommend their hibiscus refresher and cold brew :)
