Little gem next to the river. Staff were kind and food was delicious. It was great priced and a wonderful variety. Only downside if you have a baby they do not have a changing table in the bathroom also stalk doors are very short so not much privacy when you use bathroom.Parking: Plenty of parking as long as you get there before they are busy. It is definitely a place people enjoy which fills parking lot quickly.

My husband and I eat at Cora’s Bistro every so often. We just like the atmosphere, staff, and so far the delicious dinners. I only think the carrot cake needs a nice butter icing , as before. The no gluten icing on the carrot cake was not edible.

The place is nice but the dishes we had were terrible. The batter dipped fish was hard and the veal was like rubber. You could barely cut it with a knife. I won't be going back for along time.

Cora's 1850 Bistro is an absolute gem in Hawley! My Bride and I decided to stop for lunch, and what a delightful surprise it turned out to be. When we arrived, the restaurant was bustling with guests, and I thought we might have to wait a while. However, to my amazement, we were promptly seated by a friendly waitress who took our drink order and handed us menus. The efficiency and attentiveness of the staff were truly impressive.Despite the crowd, our orders were swiftly taken by another server, and before we knew it, our food arrived in just five minutes! I opted for the special, a mouthwatering prime rib on ciabatta bread, while my Bride enjoyed the turkey eddy, also on ciabatta bread. Both dishes were exquisitely prepared and bursting with flavor.What struck me most about Cora's 1850 Bistro was its seamless operation. The restaurant runs like a well-oiled machine, delivering exceptional service and delicious food with remarkable speed. It's no wonder they were able to handle a packed house so effortlessly.To top it off, the bar area boasts TVs displaying a variety of sports, ensuring you won't miss a moment of the action while you dine. Food is edible, and the portions are large, but the service is awful. I was there the other day, and it wasn’t very busy.We figured out we were meant to seat ourselves so we sat and waited, eventually someone came over to ask for our drink order. We just got waters, and it was the worst tasting water I’ve ever had lol. I know you can’t complain too much about free stuff but it literally tasted like it was scooped from a toilet, perhaps a filter could help lol.Felt like we waited ages for someone to come take our order. The waitress finally came over to ask if anyone took our order yet. One of the other waitresses was just going around complaining about politics, and saying how stupid the governor is and blah blah. I get it, think what you want but if I’m going out to eat I’d much rather relax and not listen to the staff whine about politics.Also ordered wings to go when our food came out but when it came time to leave realized they never even put the order in so had to wait another 20 minutes.
