We stumbled upon Hopping Eagle while traveling home from New York and passing Lake Wallenpaupack, this brewery is just a couple minutes from the lake! The place was hopping (pun intended) on a Saturday afternoon which is always a good sign. The two guys working the bar were very friendly and knowledgeable about the beer. Plenty of table seating, a good sized bar, and what I would call a “beer drinkers brewery”. No frills, just good beer. Their coffee cream ale as well as breakfast stout were our favorites. We will definitely be back!

Great beers! Really loved the spooky stout. The history of the old mill is really amazing. Loved all the beers I tried and the live music by AL was fabulous. Will definitely be back!
