We had a little after wedding dinner celebration last week with a larger dinner party of 9 people. We had 2 amazing waitresses that I’m truly sorry I did not get their names, but they went above and beyond for our party. They even set up a separate table for my wedding cake and had to-go containers for our party to take cake with them. The food was amazing and the atmosphere clean and so nicely decorated.
Food was only okay. especially for the high price. Benito's in Hazleton makes a much better veal parmesan. This had too much breading to veal and the sauce was on the sweet side. And the sauce on my wife 's beef stroganoff was *WAY* too sweet. We had to switch halfway through or she wouldn't have eaten. The house Cabernet was very nice. Their famous blue cheese salad was nice as well. Overall, a disappointing anniversary experience that we won't be repeating....
We love going up to Damemti's. We go every time we're in Hazleton. The seared scallops were amazing and the meatloaf we get every time. You MUST try the shrip app. Safe to say we'll be back twice a year every year.
The staff is also wonderful. They always remember my grandmother by name and are so sweet to her and her guests.
