I was passing through the area the other day so I stopped at this sub shop for the first time. Cost me $14 for a thin sub with very little meat. Didn't really notice any mayonnaise on it. The bread was nice and crispy and tasted good but other than that I was completely shocked at what I got for the price 😪

I had the fish with mushrooms (which I shared with my chauffeur for the day). Tom had a 3 meat sub and was very happy with it.
You need to try them out. But make it early they close at 2pm.

This place is of Godly decent. This place has changed my life for the better. My eyes have been opened to what a sub should taste and look like thanks to the god-like figure that is Rod. Thank you so much for your dedication to the art of Subs. If I was in Los Angeles and I needed a good lunch I would walk on bare feet to Hot Rods. This is the best Sub shop on Earth. Jody must have hands of gold because the taste of a Hot-Rod is the closest to the feeling of hugging an Angel. 100/10.
Hot rods is my pregnancy kick. Best subs in the area hands down. If you’re gonna pay the same price why would you go to a chain store when you could get fresh meat/bread from hot rods?

If you don't like meat on your sub, but you want bleeding gums from an over toasted bread and mayo sandwich, this is your place. The amount of deli meat and cheese on their subs is, or should be an embarrassment to them. Literally one or two paper thin pieces and that's no exaggeration. Not enough to actually taste what kind of sub you're eating. Sadly they don't care what you think either. I can't believe this place has been open as long as it has. I love food and almost never leave a bad review but this place is worth passing over. Seriously
