Lisa's Cafe on Chocolate Reviews
Run by kids with no manners. I do not recommend.
Been searching for a breakfast place for awhile. Stop by at Lisa's Café in Hershey and first impression is the employees are very polite and friendly. Ordered the Ham, Cheese and Egg on a Croissant. Excellent! Every week I stop by. Also tried the Sub. I highly recommend.
We had an excellent experience here this morning! Hershey’s best kept secret breakfast place. Fast friendly service and food was great, too.

Lisa's Cafe on Chocolate, previously known as Cafe Amusee, is a cozy restaurant located in a building that also houses the Hershey Story Museum. The cafe offers a variety of food and beverages, including a seasonal special coffee that is delicious. The menu features items like avocado toast with eggs, ham and swiss omelette, turkey & provolone sub, and a Grilled Chicken Caesar Wrap with chips. Customers can enjoy sandwiches and subs made to order in a quiet, reasonably priced setting perfect for a lunch with friends. The space has adorable seating areas, and staff is always friendly. The cafe is a hidden gem within the "Chocolate Story" building and is very convenient after touring the museum. Parking is easiest at Houlihans, with a short walk to the café. Service is quick, and the restaurant is clean, with tables and booths available. Visitors appreciate the great food, good prices, and friendly atmosphere.
Recent reviews highlight quick service and friendly staff, even when busy, making it a good spot for breakfast. The café also offers lunch items starting at 8 am, which is convenient for those not keen on breakfast. Many customers found the food to be very good and aesthetically pleasing, offering good value. One visitor enjoyed the brown sugar shaken espresso and noted that the café provides a nice alternative to Dunkin or Starbucks, with unique drink flavors and tasty bites like breakfast sandwiches and pastries.
However, some experiences have been less ideal. One customer ordered a Reuben with chips, but the sandwich fell apart because it was still very hot inside and melted, making it hard to eat without utensils. They also observed unattended tables and felt the food was overpriced, especially when fries were an extra charge. Overall, Lisa's Cafe on Chocolate remains a friendly, convenient spot with good food and quick service, popular among visitors for a casual meal.
