Mexican Restaurants near Hershey

“I love the setup here. I went early and the salsa was fresh. They were very festive with it being Halloween season. I ordered the nachos supreme… these need a lot of work. Diced tomatoes go long way. They give you one half slice of a small tomato. Under that is a bed of lettuce with the rest of the toppings at the bottom. It makes the chips under it soggy

I also ordered steak burritos. The rice was good.. these burritos weren’t bad. Steak seemed overcooked.

Their drinks are their shining point here

My wife love the Del Mar tacos here as well.“

“Although the staff is nice - Portions are very small. I asked for extra rice, and it was less than I would have gotten at a regular moe’s, without asking for extra. Barely got any Chicken. Food was good though! Options are limited on the premises.

Take out only. No in restaurant dining.

UPDATE: went back the next day, and staff were beyond generous with their food. I got a massive bowl from them. It comes down to the staff and how busy it is. Don’t be afraid to for more! Staff was even nicer than before!“

“The service was pretty quick, but the food was not made to the specifications that I had asked. I did a mobile order and asked for fresh tomato salsa and they only put like a tablespoon on it. they did put a decent amount of meat on and that was good.

Parking: If you’re coming from the west on Hershey Road, just park on the side of the road and go in that door.“

“Really cool food truck off the side of the road offering tacos, empanadas, quesadillas, and other Mexican style cuisine.

I had the carnitas tacos and a beef empanada. I thought the empanada was great. Flaky outside with tons of moist and seasoned ground beef inside.

The carnitas tacos were solid. They were a little dry in some areas, and I like a little crisp on the outside of my pork, but overall, the flavors were there and great portion for the price.

“Stopped for a quick snack. Crunchy tacos are my go-to for a short visit.
Great fresh shells, veggies and cheese. Meat was hot and fresh. This is a good place to stop for a snack or a meal.

Parking: Easy to find a spot. Nice big parking lot. Easy in and out with great access to drive thru.

Wheelchair accessibility: Handicap parking spots available and easy door access.“

“Taco Bell food is Taco Bell food. It does the job, it's somewhat yummy, but it is what it is. I have no expectations of it being greater than that.

What I'm reviewing is the impressive service. There appeared to be an altercation the evening I was there in the drive-through. There was a 20-30 ish bearded man outside the door of the Taco Bell. It appeared they had locked him out. It was very late, so I'm sure the dining area was closed anyway. The man was yelling, saying threatening things, and was highly emotionally escalated. It appeared that he may have been under the influence. It looked to be a pretty scary situation. I, along with several others in line, who had our windows down because it was a nice evening, rolled our windows up. I personally did it for safety. Because it appeared the man yelling was out of control and started storming around the building, and towards the cars. The young man who locked him out, was the same young man that provided me my order at the drive-through window. There was a pause on all of the orders, which was understandable. The young man at the drive-through window was eventually able to serve me and the other cars in line. He had a gentle voice, was helpful in my order, and he was clearly shaken. His hands shook as he put the sauce packets into my bag. I'm sure anybody would have been shaken after that incident. He was just doing his job, was put in a threatening situation, and was still doing his best. I really appreciate him. He should get a bonus, some paid time off, and maybe even some short term trauma assistance for what he went through.“
