“As fairly new residents of Johnstown, we found out about Scott's by Dam through co-workers who raved about the food. They were right. Everything we had was great. The menu has a lot to offer. The place isn't big by any stretch of the imagination but as soon as we walked through the door, we were greeted like old friends by Scott. He came by our table to check on us several times during our meal and cracked some jokes and interacted with all of his customers. What was especially endearing was the way he interacted with a mom and her young daughter who came in to pickup an order to go. They were obviously regulars and Scott leaned down and handed the little girl a bag of potato chips and she lit up. Scott and his wife are huge supporters of the Johnstown Tomahawks so it's nice to have a local family owned business that cares about the community. We will definitely be back!“
“Been stopping by on Friday evenings for fish….the fish is absolutely the best and the portions are super! If you leave hungry…it’s your own fault! Stopped in on Tuesday for the shrimp special dinner. Shrimp were humongous! Quite a meal!!! Keep up the great food and great service! And bye the way…the waitresses are top notch!!!“
“Great place. My gf and I first time here . We both got their burgers, cheese sticks and few drinks . Great food and service . The bartender was great and made the first impression of the place even better. Bartender made the experience, I wish I got his name . Definitely gonna invite more people out to check this place “
“My wife and I live in the neighborhood and we had fish dinners from the dugout on a Friday during lent. The portions were very nice pieces of fish, and I had a yummy bowl of halushki. No complaints from me or the Mrs, and the owner is one of the nicest people I've met around here. She is very friendly, and she always says hello when we see her around.“
“the owner is a hard core cyclist. He's very knowledgeable about bike trails in the area. If you're a cyclist, this is a great place to get some ideas for your next trail ride. His prices are reasonable and when I was there he had a local IPA craft beer on tap. Essentially a friendly neighborhood tavern. Location is a good starting/end point for a“
