Big store with a big selection. Usually clean and organized. Above average pricing unless you shop sale items only. Staff is usually friendly and helpful. Store layout can be a little confusing. Hot foods are decent but on the pricey side. The deli is also pricey. Great meat and seafood department. Wide selection and good quality products but usually I only buy sale items, unless something catches my interest. Checkout lines aren't usually too long but I head to self checkout area which is usually a smooth transaction.

Just had an awesome experience with Jackson today n the bakery. At the last minute we needed a gluten free birthday cake. He was super friendly and helpful. He walked me to where they had a couple options. He then partnered with his team to get them personalized in minutes. This store and team were great.

my best friend's mother passed and I heard that nobody was bringing food to the funeral home they were going to be there all day from 2:00 till 8:00 at night I called around to a few places they were all booked nobody could squeeze me in I called the water front Giant eagle the gentleman put me on hold and checked with his manager and the manager said since it was such an emergency he was squeezing me in. the food was done on time it was perfect. I can't say enough about how wonderful they were down there for me. great job. prepared hot foods is awesome

We ordered a cake from the bakery for our parents’ 90th birthdays. When Kaylyn called to confirm details of the decorating she asked whether we’d like to have flowers all over the cake - sides as well as top. This cake was by far the most beautiful cake we have ever had decorated by a local bakery! Kaylyn is truly an employee who goes over and above and we so appreciate her work.

Stopped into a location that's normally out of the way for me, but I was nearby for lunch at another spot. A quick stop in for a couple things. A large location with lots of room. Employees were being covid responsible. I was surprised not to be able to find two of the items wanted (Okra, and Orzo pasta) but sometimes things aren't in stock, so no biggie. Found everything else, and as always a couple other items that caught my eye (guys do that, amiright?) Clean, spacious, and a quick checkout. Good to go!

why have a delivery service if the delivery never happen. I waited one full week to get my order and nothing came and I have babies at home waiting food that is not coming. no excuse at all as to why the customer has to suffer for something giant eagle has done.
