We had a great time & got to see amazing live band. Had some pretzels with beer cheese and that was also fantastic.
Came back for smash burgs and they were also superb.
We have been here more than a dozen times (including today).
This is the best brewery in Pittsburgh.
1) they are family friendly indoors or and outdoors (high chairs, toys, area outside)
2) the beers are affordable and delicious - never had a bad one
3) the cocktails rotate and are also delicious and unique (had two holiday ones today - knocked it our of the park)
4) they over N.A. options for people that need those and they taste delicious
5) the food is exceptional for being a brewery (try the Mac and cheese!)
6) there is always something happening - an event, life music, etc. today, we stumbled in for a gift card and stayed for lunch and drinks because a life holiday band was playing and Santa was there!
It’s worth the drive, every penny and is a gem. Go here!
Great Traditional German and Eastern European beer. The food is amazing. This place is a gem.
Golden Age Brewery just may be THE BEST Brewery in the Pittsburgh region.
The Quick… Great, and I Do Mean GREAT Beer and a GREAT Price!
The building itself along with the outside design is open and inviting.
The staff is very knowledgeable and quick to help.
The food goes perfect with the choices of beer… which is Amazing!
My personal Favorite is the:
Světlé 10° $6
Czech Pale Lager is the quintessential lager of
Czechia. A simple showcase of floor-malted
Bohemian Pilsner malt, balanced with floral
and spice from the mighty Saaz hops. 4.3%
My Wife Loves the:
Tent bier $6
Brewed here in Homestead in collaboration
with our friends Chris & John Troegner of
Tröegs Independent Brewing in Hershey, PA.
We brewed this beer to be a weissbier similar
to the ones you’d see in the tents in Munich at
this time of year. It’s a drier, lower alcohol take
on the big weissbiers that you associate with
the Bavarian countryside. 5.0%
They often have music outside during the nice days and inside when not during the weekends and some nights.
I highly recommend you visit their website for a list of what’s on Tap/prices and visit the Untappd app for reviews.
I absolutely love this place and I don’t mind the drive, 30min city, because of the atmosphere.
Golden Age Beer Company just gets it RIGHT!
Grab your loved ones and friends and head to there TODAY!
Cheers.
Visiting Golden Age Beer Co. Mostly German style brews, which I love! No flights here, but they do offer half pours of your choice. I selected the Rauchbier Marzen, which is a smoked Marzen. Excellent!
I love this place. TheyFood is a little overpriced in my opinion, but since they are one of the few places that have dairy free pizza I really can't complain.
Amazing traditional beer & great pizza! The frequent live music and beer garden made this our new go-to place in the burgh.
Without a doubt, some of, if not the best beer in the area. No joke. This place is THE best.
An absolute must!
The mid-century bowling alley/grandparent’s basement vibe works. Super cool spot to chill and drink some well-crafted old world style lagers and listen to smooth jazz music (the good kind). Wish we had more time. You should definitely stop in if you have time to kill and tastebuds to please.

We were there with friends on Friday nite. Great atmosphere; good food. The band, Second Breakfast, was fantastic. We would go back to see them again. Great vibe on the outside patio. Curious what it will be like inside.
Golden Age is a hidden gem. The all-lager beer list is unique and all are wonderful. They often have great live music, nice indoor and outdoor seating, and the food is terrific as well.
They short pour the wine every time. We wont be going back
beautiful venue - excellent beer and food. music is top notch
I love the atmosphere here. The mid century details fit in well with the frozen-in-time Homestead. Beers are unique and the live music makes it worth it to sit a while. Love the side patio. Decent size.
