Arthur Ave Italian Deli

I can't give these guys enough praise for our experience this past weekend. I ordered food for a group of friends of about 10 people. They all loved it. The person handling my order couldn't be nicer or more helpful. When I was thinking about how much food to get, they actually told me to get less than what was I was thinking because it should would have been too much. Prices were extremely reasonable and service at the deli itself was exceptional. Thank you Arthur Ave team. Will be back again soon.

This place is a “must” whenever you are in the area . Anytime we visit Narrowsburg NY or Beach Lake PA we ALWAYS get food from here! The portions are HUUGEEE and the quality of the food is Top notch every single time . We have had them cater and again the food was just as delicious as ordering single meals or subs. DONT MISS OUT ON THIS PLACE!

Yesterday (June 29th, 2026) was our first time going to Arthur Ave Italian Deli. It’s a little spot in the shopping center off Texas Palmyra Highway in Honesdale, PA. It’s the kind of deli shop that transports you to a time that reflects the authenticity and nostalgia of a deli out of New Jersey or New York. Plenty of seating inside as well as a couple of spots outside the main entrance. The menu is packed with so many food options. It makes you want to try them all on the same visit. For those with gluten allergies or sensitivity to gluten, they do not have gluten free bread but are more than willing to accommodate making a option minus the bread to your liking which brings me to my last point. In any given establishment, you can have great food and deli style atmosphere but it’s all for nothing if the service you receive is terrible. That’s not the case here. The guy whose name I do not know was one of the friendliest people my wife and I have ever encountered. He was polite and accommodating and made you feel like you are family. The portions are massive and the prices for what you pay are extremely reasonable. The flavor of the food is exquisite and when you’re finished, there is a whole glass counter filled with delectable treats from cannolis to cookies and more. Make this the place you go to when shopping and need a spot to sit down and make your tummy happy.

Food great! Service 11/10 place is beautiful. Owner is super kind nice and very hardworking. I recommend literally everyone here. Sandwiches are amazing canolli are great!

I'm sure this is a good place given the ratings, but I was disappointed with my chicken parm hero. Instead of a chicken breast, it was chicken strips like might be used on a pizza. Not bad, just disappointing.

They have a great selection of hard to find italian ingredients as well as good made to order food.

Sandwiches are always fresh and packed with more than enough meat. Not badly priced either. Staff is very friendly. Great place!!

Some of the nicest people work here and it has become our favorite family lunch spot. Our top picks are the prosciutto hero and chicken cutlet sub. Always delicious!

I moved up here from northeast NJ, and this is the first authentic Italian Deli I've found. Great sandwiches, and the prices aren't bad. I'll recommend this place to friends.

I look forward to coming here every time. The food is fantastic, the prices are fair and the owner and his family are super nice! I typically order so much stuff that I need a box to carry it all out. DO NOT leave without getting a cannoli and some of their amazing cookies!!!

The hot wing hoagie is delicious. Don't listen to the haters. I order mine with the sauce on the side, because I can never finish my sandwiches as they are so big. So plenty to bring home and bring home the sauce and put it on when you heat up so you can: #1 put on as much sauce as you like and not have to complain about the amount of sauce 😂, and #2 so the bread doesn't get soggy since I'm not eating it all right away.

I will never come back here again i ordered a hot wing hoagie and it was sloppy on a bun I couldn't even eat it with out wearing half off the mixture it was the worst hoagie I ever had it was like hot wing soup thrown on a bun so let me update on this review I read the response from the owner and I appreciate that and I will give them another try i cant judge them in one bad thing everyone has a bad day and yesterday was my bad day and I understand so thank you again for the response ill be back another day to try again
