Wonderful people

My party and I were just getting out of the car to go in when we spotted the political signs very clearly sponsored by the diner. We decided to go to the diner in town, on Main Street, instead of patronizing a place that doesn't understand that taking a side in politics is going to offend some customers. Businesses should be neutral when it comes to politics; why turn off potential customers??

I have company over this week and we decided to run into Hensdale to have an early lunch. We have six cars filled with family members. We pull into your driveway and notice a cross with Trump Vance sign on it people crazy. I wouldn’t trust the food you serve with putting something like that on a business. Shame on you take it down.

The best “home cooked” meals.

We had family visiting and went there on a whim. The special 3 of us had was the New York Strip and it was delicious - done perfectly ! The other 3 people in our group had other entrees and all enjoyed their meal. We were too full for dessert but Key Lime pie sounded good. The dining room is next to the bar but separated by a wood and glass wall so very cozy and fun. The service was a little slow but waiter was pleasant and did a good job. They are open limited hours so please call to check.

Parking: probably 40 spots close to doors with paved lot

Kid-friendliness: There were 2 families with children 4 to 10 years old and felt comfortable. Children's menu

Wheelchair accessibility: Very easy access through the dining room doors. Wide foyer and open dining room with tables that work with wheelchair

The place smells like an old person's house who smoked for years in it. The food was horrible. Hair in my salad. Peas that obviously came from a can. My daughter but into her burger and felt a crunch so i told her not to eat it. This has to be the worst place I have ever ate at. They should have stayed closed.
