I researched before traveling to Honesdale, PA where I wanted to eat. I was looking for atmosphere, good food and good prices. Out of the many places i looked at, I chose Gretchen's Gratto. We walked in and were pleased by the pleasant atmosphere and I liked they have tablecloths. I like tablecloths. Tables without cloths feels cafeteria style. I Love Gretchens and all the staff, everyone is courteous and professional. Gretchen and Lee are 2 great people with a great business. The food is always exceptional as is the service.

INCREDIBLE homemade meals! We were seated by Gretchen herself.
I have a milk ALLERGY and they took the time to recommend menu items, and ensure my safety.
Their homemade marinara does not contain any dairy, and I did not have a reaction.

Will be visiting this adorable and delicious restaurant every time I am in the area!
