Ronda from Hopwood House is such an excellent server and always treats me and my wife like family. The chef always comes out and personally asks about the meal. I have never had a bad meal or experience at this restaurant. Just one of the things I appreciate about this restaurant is that they serve meals that you just can’t get in this area. For example, they have had duck, wild boar cheek, lamb loin……things that you need to go and try to expand your palate. This is a local & down to earth business…..please support it.

The current chef is fantastic. I tried a bite of every friend's meal at our table. And each different type of meat was perfectly cooked, and juicy. Tough, dry meat doesn't exist here. Everything was so flavorful as well and large portions

We went to the Hopwood House for my husbands Birthday. Our service was good, nothing over the top but nothing to complain about. We got the meatball Appetizer. Portion only good for two people, I was not impressed by the flavor or texture. The cheese inside was not melted just a glob. My husband got the 12 Ribeye special, came with a side salad, baked potato, and Brussel sprouts for $26.99. His food tasted good. Salad was a good portion. Steak was not very fatty. I ordered the 8oz filet, which is marked market price, which came Brussel sprouts and little potatoes. I thought the steak cut very well, made to my order but could of used more salt which I couldn't add any, no salt and pepper on the table, my steak was $60. I was SUPER sticker shocked. It was definitely not worth that much, ive definitely had better for less. Even with that said I think its a nice restaurant with a nice vibe. But note to self ask what the price is- i Just assumed it would be more then the river but not $30 more.

Went to dinner at the Hopwood House with great friends. We were very impressed! Our server Rhonda, was excellent and the food was fantastic. A very relaxed atmosphere and a Long Island Iced Tea to top off the experience.

It has been a long time since we had the chef, come out to the table to see how we liked our dinners, it was a great touch to finish out the evening.

Ordered black cod which was very good. The spinach that came with it was very salty. My wife ordered the Wagu beef ribeye and it was prepared like a Burger King whopper. It was charred so much that you really couldn’t taste the meat. We were with a group of people so I didn’t want to bring negativity to a very pleasant dinner and figured I would just call them the next day in which I did. I called the following day left a message. No return call. So I called the next day. This time I spoke with a person on the phone, whom was very nice, but said that they could do nothing about it because it was not brought up at the dinner which I thought was very odd. I have restaurant background and I know whenever I see somebody hasn’t eaten hardly any of their meal I ask questions on why. As a cook or a chef this is what we are trained to watch for. The server saw that we were taking home the majority of the ribeye and the question should have presented itself but it didn’t. Reason for the 1 star is as good as the other food was, the 90$ ribeye was just that bad and they should have taken care of the portion of the bill or offered the value of that badly charred steak of a credit or gift card.

The place is absolutely charming whether sitting inside or out. The menu changes ever so often. The chef stops by to check on you, and sometimes the owner; this restaurant cares about your experience. The meal is always great. Yes, it costs more, especially for the area and that's because it's worth more.

Tonya, our waitress, was exceptional from the moment we arrived. The chef also stopped by our table to make sure we were enjoying our meal. The menu had plenty of options and the food was top tier. 5 star experience without question. We will be back again!

Be aware of all the print!!! Gratuity tip is added to your meal automatically. Stated on menu. But we didnt look at the menu and just ordered the specials shown on facebook. So we ended up tipping our 20% on top of our included gratuity😡when i called about it they said i had to speak with the manager...when i spoke with the manager he said it was on the menu and i needed to come in to further discuss....why waste my time as they should have just offered a gift card!!!wont go back !!!!

We had a great 'Adult Night Out' as part of our family reunion. We sat on the patio, the food was great, the atmosphere was fun and romantic. An exclamation point on our family vacation.

Everything I ordered was very good. Yes, this is an expensive restaurant, especially for the Uniontown area. Love the bar and vibe. Bartender was okay, but she wasn't overly knowledgeable, but not bad either. The bread was very good and that salad was excellent. Moved onto the seafood pasta dish and it was quite good as well, especially how they cooked the seafood with a nice charred taste. The desert was a nice finish. I don't give 5 stars often, so this is a good place, but a little pricey for its level/area, BUT I will return. My wine pairing was a little bit of a miss. I was dinning alone and spent over $100, just so you know.

Went back and had an amazing meal!!! I can't believe there isn't a line out the door, but Uniontown. Filet, escargot and an amazing caprese salad , not to mention perfect old fashioned cocktails. I will be a regular here. Awesome!
