“Great local family-owned restaurant. We had a large party of 12. We were surprised they had no problem sitting us immediately.Standard, hearty diner food. Fresh, hot and good. It seemed like we had hardly finished ordering and the food started arriving. Extremely fast!Highly recommend this spot as a go-to for breakfast.And they were flexible, willing to serve anything on the menu at 8:30 AM. Who eats wings for breakfast? This guy!Eat here! You won’t regret it

“After being ignored at Koffe Korner in Lansdale our family decided to go to American Star Diner for breakfast. We were welcomed with great hospitality by their staff and our food was delicious. We have been there other times for lunch but needless to say we will be coming back more often for breakfast. Thank you!“

“We had our semi-annual breakfast there once again. As usual, great food and service. We had Jessica and Courtney , our regular waitresses, they are great. All the guys love them. They handled 41 Sears TractorTrailer drivers - no problem. We’ll be back in six months (4/11/25). At the end some of us waited for this picture.“

“Excellent food, nice atmosphere with comfortable central A/C, friendly wait staff, and easy access to plenty of parking! Nice clean bathrooms too. The menu is large and best of all you get salad, bread, and one and two sides of vegetables included with many of the special. No A la carte bologna!😚“

“I haven’t been to a diner in a while (since COVID closures) and tonight (September 15, 2023) I had a chance to get out to Suburban Diner for dinner. It was such a nice time to just sit in public and eat with friends. This diner is definitely a perfect place to sit back, relax and enjoy my meal in comfort.“

“This was our first time in the lovely Town of Keswick PA we were there to see a OMD concert the night before which was really amazing 👏 Each of our breakfast came with two plates of food. A very large portion, tasty all around with French toast, bacon 🥓,sausage 🥓 ,eggs, toast and hash browns. We both needed a to go box 📦 for the left overs. Our waitress was very friendly and very efficient. We will surely go back to the Village Diner.“

“There are 3 Foundational Black Americans working in John's Diner, and I'm telling you, if it wasn't for those 3 pros, John's Diner would be out of business. When I tell you the food is delicious and has that clean taste of old fashioned diner food. You know I'm impressed. Big ups, too, those 3 workers. ? ? ?“

“Matzo ball soup is the best I've ever had. I only eat it from here! The open face turkey platter is so delicious I always get it from here. This is me and my mother's lunch date every time we go shopping or doctors appt we stop here to eat!“
