“It looks like a bar from the outside, but inside it's actually one of the better restaurants in town. They have a surprisingly wide selection of sandwiches and bar food that is all pretty good, and they're also definitely the best place in town for vegetarian options. It can get busy on weekend nights and the service gets pretty slow when it's busy, but it's always a good atmosphere inside.”

“We have a cabin nearby that we come to a couple times a year. This is our go-to place. Food is always good (wings, fish & chips, burgers & more!) A lot of people mentioning beer, but they have a full bar too! Country bar/restaurant with great food, prices & people!”

“We are 1st timers to the village tavern and will be back. Plenty of parking & tons of seating. Looks newly renovated inside. The food is at a great price. Get the Cajun garlic wings. That garlic butter sauce is incredible, I dipped my fries in it. All the food was good & came out quickly.”

“today we surprised these guys with a table of 7. it took time to get our food because they were already really busy, but they were very attentive to our needs as we waited. I apologize to anyone who had to wait for their food because of us. however, the food was exceptional. all of it. plenty portions and left with our belly's full. we walked away feeding all of us for about 100 bucks. I highly recommend this place. but be prepared to wait a little for authentic homecooked food.”
