“We have a cabin nearby that we come to a couple times a year. This is our go-to place. Food is always good (wings, fish & chips, burgers & more!) A lot of people mentioning beer, but they have a full bar too! Country bar/restaurant with great food, prices & people!”

“Needed dinner on a Sunday night and landed here after our first choice was closing at 8. We were very pleasantly surprised by the service and the food. We ended up ordering mozzarella sticks and cheese steak sandwiches. Service was fast and the food was delicious. The tomato sauce served with the mozzarella sticks was so good it made me regret not ordering a pizza. We ended up using the leftover sauce on the cheese steaks. Totally awesome.”

“Boxer's has been open for 35 years; there's a good reason. It's a friendly place, welcoming to all. It's a comfortable, historic building, with a stone backbar and tile mosaic floor. They serve great draft beer, always have. Great sandwiches, with some very good vegetarian options. And there's fresh-baked pie, at a bar: how cool is that?”

“We are 1st timers to the village tavern and will be back. Plenty of parking & tons of seating. Looks newly renovated inside. The food is at a great price. Get the Cajun garlic wings. That garlic butter sauce is incredible, I dipped my fries in it. All the food was good & came out quickly.”

“today we surprised these guys with a table of 7. it took time to get our food because they were already really busy, but they were very attentive to our needs as we waited. I apologize to anyone who had to wait for their food because of us. however, the food was exceptional. all of it. plenty portions and left with our belly's full. we walked away feeding all of us for about 100 bucks. I highly recommend this place. but be prepared to wait a little for authentic homecooked food.”
