“Delicious tavern food, many tavern options on menu. I’ve had several different items at this point and they all have hit. Generous portions. Reasonably priced.

The staff is very friendly. They do get bombarded with volume at times but they are fast, manage it well and still manage to smile.

Great place to watch sports. Many big TVs considering size of the restaurant.

Good draft selection and take out options. Also reasonably priced.

“The Bridesburg Pub for years is a fun place to go. There is always people that you know in there. This particular late day into night visit was awesome with our bartender, Tony, who we were all meeting for the first time. He was very friendly, attentive to our drinks, just a great guy!. My girlfriend and I were on a Chambord kick and I was impressed that they had that liqueur and Tony was no stranger in making my Chambord Sours and Debbie’s French Martini’s.

Parking: We found spots right by the Bridesburg Pub. It was Labor Day Weekend also.“

“I had dinner with my wife on Friday night. We live 2 blocks away. Normally we stop in to a have few drinks and get some apps, which are always good. Last night I tried some of the dinner choices. I couldn’t decide so I got the Seafood Gumbo which was outstanding. Then I got the Southern Fried CatFish with the mustard sauce, which was amazing. They were both big portions, (I didn’t finish either, although I tried, haha). My wife had buffalo cauliflower and dry Cajun wings which were both really good. The food is a hidden gem that we have in Palmyra, the prices are good and the service is always great. We had the young guy with hat and he was awesome. The bartenders even jump out to make sure the tables are ok. The acoustic guy playing was just right also. I know the owners have worked hard to keep 5 West going the last few years. Keep up the Great work!!“

No seasoning on the pizza and the tomato sauce a little sweet. However, it is cooked perfectly with no burnt marks. Noticed they had Miller Light cans for $3.00. The pizza cost $10.00, which is good value.“

“Sending out a big thank you to Wilson’s pub. It was my sisters 60th birthday party we were supposed to celebrate at another bar who promised to reserve tables to accommodate her family and friends 30 of us . When we arrived, they told us that they could not reserve all of the tables that they said earlier they would.. no apology no nothing. Needless to say we left that bar flooded Wilson’s with approximately 25 people. They gave us the whole side room. Drinks were great. We ordered food and I believe the cook brought it right out to us his self.. great bartenders great food ….they could not have been nicer or more accommodating would definitely recommend Wilson’s to anyone“

Bartenders need to learn how to work the remote for the music , It is Bose system that you can adjust for each end of the bar and the right channel is off along with the bass . lol I always listen to music when I am there .“

I thought you opened early but see your hours start at 5pm. “As a Kensington resident, I definitely want to scoop people to all the hot spots in our neighborhood cluster: Kensington (East, Upper, Old), Port Richmond, Harrowgate. I’d have to put Kensington Pub No. 1 for both food and atmosphere.

They have a decently vast menu for a pub, and I believe there’s really not a miss on the menu. Last time out, my wife got the Cod sandwich w/ fries, and I got the Smashburger, w/ fries. As a legit French fry connoisseur, I asked for my crinkle fries to be well-done with no salt, and they delivered them golden and perfectly!

They give you such a big portion of fries that I was in heaven. The smashburger (double) was very good as well; a little thicker than your normal smash patties, but who would complain about that.

My wife thought the portion of her cod sandwich was on the smaller side, but she liked that it wasn’t oily like most cod sandwiches. It also came in 3 pieces, which makes it more difficult to eat opposed to one cod patty.

The atmosphere was dope: When the Phillies, Eagles, Sixers, or Flyers are on, you will get a nice crowd that gives you that traditional Philly feel, with the ambience supporting that. We love the retro pictures of different spots around Philly, and we happened to sit at a table that had a picture of the exact street we live on.

I give Kensington Pub a 10/10 and we will frequent it quite a bit as it’s within walking distance. Most of our neighborhood is if you want to get some exercise in.“

“They had a barbecue yesterday and the food was absolutely amazing. Tim and Ashley( the man and woman making and serving the food) are super friendly and fast with your order. I felt like no sooner did I order my meal , they were there handing me a plate full of hot delicious food. I would definitely recommend going there to eat on the days that Tim and Ashley are there.“

“I had a burger delivered and it was so good! It was a nice medium rare and had fresh lettuce, tomato and onion. It was very juicy and the bun didn’t collapse to the liquid. It was also still hot and delicious after the delivery. The bacon wasn’t thin flimsy bacon either it was a nice thickness and had good flavor. The times that I have been to Murphy’s in person the waiters were very nice and it was an excellent enjoyable time. Overall a very nice place, I would go again soon.“
