Definitely one of the worst meals we've ever had, but the service was fine. Ordered a rare steak. Came out almost well done and tasted like a VERY filthy grill. Salmon was very over cooked and dry. Risotto was overly sweet and oily. Buffalo cauliflower was not cooked long enough. The pear martini was so off-putting. The consistency itself was off. It was thick like it was all simple syrup, and it tasted like cough syrup.
We stumbled onto the Open Table by shear chance, and it was one of the most memoriable unexpected good meals. The food was piping hot (a rarety at most places). The presentation was outstanding. The flavors were superb. And the portions were more then generous. The drinks were delicious and the dessert was delectable. We had the onion soup, wedge salad, salmon entrée and venison meatloaf. We enjoyed a nice dinner. The restaurant was not at all crowded on a Friday night. The French onion soup was very good. The grilled cheese was tasty, and the prime rib was delicious. We had a very pleasant experience with attentive servers.
