“My friend and I had breakfast there on Tuesday, July 22nd, and while my cinnamon french toast was great, his sausage gravy bowl was not very good. He said that the sausage gravy tasted like it came from a can. When the restaurant was called "Shoo Shoo's, the sausage gravy was excellent and that's why he ordered it, but he was quite dissapointed by what he received on that day. Perhaps the new owner needs to utilize the old recipes to keep his loyal customers happy. I know you all can do better.”

“If I could give this restaurant more than 5 stars, I would give it 10 out of 10. The server is excellent. She is so friendly and helpful and has a very nice appearance. The restaurant is clean and so is the restroom. It has eye-catching artwork as well and the place has a modern uncluttered atmosphere. The food hits every time. This past Sunday I ordered their special, the Thai omelet. It was both simple and outstanding at the same time. My husband loves the wings.”

“We've ordered quite a few meals from Burnie's via door dash and they were all absolutely amazing. The catfish has a really nice breading and is perfectly cooked, the wings are delicious, salmon cooked perfectly, the pastas have been really good too. We love their mac and cheese along with the greens, so much that I've actually put in a catering size order for the mac and will order more catering sizes in the future from them. This place does not disappoint, it's a definite taste bud pleaser!”

If you want to host a large party and need trays of food, this is definitely the place to order from. Many people asked where did I order this from because they were impressed with the quantity and taste of the food. Not my primary place for chinese but had exactly what I needed for an event. Thank you guys! (Photos is for one tray of general tso, I would say this is enough for 8 people, sides are not inlcuded. I ordered a variety of 10 trays and very happy I went here.)”

“My family and I accidentally stumbled across this place, (I haven't been to this building/restaurant since 2012 when it was under a different establishment and last I knew nothing was reopened) and this family of new owners was very ATTENTIVE, PROFESSIONAL AND just made us feel WELCOMED from the start. The owners were AMAZING, gave us a background of their business and their children were EXCEPTIONALLY polite, and KNEW how to work as a team! The atmosphere was comfortable and inviting and the food was entirely homemade and FABULOUS. (My family is Italian so saying that should be enough ?) “Swear, I am not an ice cream person. I'm a Penn State Beaver dabbler alumni and wanted to try the infamous ice cream. I have heard nothing but praises about it, and rightly so. My first indulgence ended in going to Judy's Jimmies 4 times in the week I was home. Since then, every time I come home, JJ's is the must do!! My favorite is the HAPPY HAPPY JOY JOY which can be paired with the DEATH BY CHOCOLATE beautifully! Omgaaa, omgaaa, thank you so much for bringing the WeAre deliciousness closer to home, creating an ice cream lover out of me!!!”
