“Shandras was literally across the street from me when I lived in Jenkins Twp. I ordered from there every Wednesday and Friday. When people claim that "Old Forge has the best pizza" I have to politely correct them. Shandras is BY FAR the BEST pizza on this planet- and the owners are the sweetest people on earth.”

“Love this place! Pastries are delicious- especially their red velvet I think Cupcake? Or muffin. Parfaits always hit the spot and they have a great assortment of coffees. My only complaint is that staff isn't sure of how to cook over light, or over medium eggs and had to have us explain what we meant. Sandwich was still amazing, but just something to mention for others potentially wanting their eggs done differently!”

“Love this place!! Great food and amazing service!! We tried the Crab Gouda flat bread at the recommendation of Sam and Della and boy were they right!! We also had the Old bay Shrimp, bites and Dry Cajun Shore fries with Santa Fe Ranch!!! Yum to everything!!! We go for the food but even more for the staff. Sam, Della and Nick are truly the best and always make our night out Extra special!!”

“This was my first time back since new management turned a good bar into a GREAT BAR - the 1905 Tavern!!! Only had “Hot Caesar” wings which were great and a couple Outlaw beers!?? Can’t wait to come back and try other things on the menu because they all look delicious! Bartenders & other patrons were all friendly! Reasonable prices! Overall, a great, fun night!”

“We first heard of Chef Von through Next Level Chef. We stopped today as we passed through Scranton. We had the new hangover smash burger which was off the charts. Everyone was super friendly, food was amazing and we even got to briefly met Chef Von. Highly recommended. Get there before he wins next level and you won’t be able to get a seat.”

“I went yesterday March 29,2024 at 5:20 pm with my son and girlfriend it was a Great experience. We chose one of the igloos it was really comfy and beautiful. The waitresses and bartenders were attentive and we really felt Welcome. “A most charming stroll down memory lane. Lots of neat look-sees here and old fashioned candies. They do lots of ice cream orders and the ambiance is worth a drive there. The owner is so friendly and even uses the old time rolling ladder to reach those high up treats. If my kids were little, I would definitely inquire about a birthday party there. I found BROADWAY LICORICE ROLLS and was transported back to 1976. Thanks to all the kind workers at Ballyhoo's.”

“Authentic Mexican food — SO fresh! The salsa is amazing and there is a big variety of tacos prepared with traditional Mexican ingredients. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. I had several questions about some items on the menu I was unfamiliar with- I learned a lot! Portion sizes are very generous -including the $7 Happy Hour Margaritas, which are made with fresh squeezed lime juice. No mixers here! My husband’s comment when we first tasted our food: “they definitely don’t take short cuts here”. This is a great addition to downtown WB - can’t wait to go back!”

“Traveled through the area and got takeout based on the Google reviews, and we were not disappointed. Online ordering was so convenient, pickup was fast and easy, and the staff were very friendly. The chimichangas were absolutely delicious. We got them fried with chicken. We also got the 3 combo with enchiladas and tacos and preferred the chicken enchiladas. Our order came with a ton of chips and delicious salsa. I'm so glad we found this gem ? also so affordable! We will be back!”

“This place is fantastic! Don’t let the small, corner location keep you away. I ordered this 5 hoagie platter for my birthday party and it was a huge hit with my family. This made it so much easier than ordering individual sandwiches for everyone. They slice the roll twice longways, leaving a barrier between the meat and veggies. It’s a brilliant idea that keeps the ingredients nicer longer. We will definitely be going back for more!”

We loved everything we ordered: the dumplings, shrimp rolls, pad Thai and green curry. The servings were so plentiful that I had leftovers for breakfast. Many thanks for this wonderful meal!”

“Our high school hockey team traveled to Wilkes-Barre, PA for games this weekend and someone told us about Kiko’s. We ordered breakfast sandwiches for the team that were absolutely fabulous. The boys loved them and asked for more! So, we ordered sandwiches for the ride home, and once again they were a huge hit! Kiko also made two trays of empanadas for us to try and the kids devoured them. Kiko is wonderful - very generous, flexible and a pleasure to work with. The experience was stellar! “Always a win at Minooka! I’ve ordered pies and cakes for special occasions, and I’ve also dropped in for last-minute sweets from the display. Family and friends always compliment their desserts, and it has saved me tons of time with their easy online ordering. Their key lime pie has become a birthday tradition for my family, and the strawberry cake will probably be my daughter’s favorite birthday cake ever. The customer service is top notch, even on their busiest days like Pi Day and pickup for thanksgiving orders. My only suggestion would be to have a separate line for desserts ordered ahead on those busy days. I hope minooka continues to enjoy many more years of success with their delicious food and friendly service!Dietary restrictions: They have a designated gluten free freezer case with a great variety of desserts and breads. I’ve ordered gluten free cupcakes for a school party, and the teacher was impressed with how delicious they were!”
