Curiosities Coffee and Ice House

Got ice cream here, the sampler, and it was an amazing value. Less than $7 with tip for an insane amount of ice cream! We got 4 flavors - Boston creme, which was okay, blueberry cheesecake, which was solid and then pistachio cherry and lemon cookie which were out of this world tasty. Would definitely return!

The place is themed in a fairytale style with Alice in wonderland theme. We had coffee and muffin as well as bought local beans and honey.

I would never visit this place again. The customer service was terrible from start to finish. The staff were unfriendly, dismissive, and seemed annoyed by basic questions. I felt unwelcome the entire time, and any concerns I had were ignored. There are plenty of other ice cream shops that value their customers and provide a much better experience. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Ordered an ice vanilla latte and I got an ice coffee with almost no flavor. The matcha my sister ordered tasted like milk. Cute spot but the drinks could be better.

Walls are covered in ai slop. Matcha came out grey and tasted like the bag had been left open all day/like expired ocean water.

This is definitely a unique coffee shop. I tried a toasted marshmallow latte. It was fine, nothing amazing. Staff was okay. The vibe was a little more odd than we like.

What a great find. The hot and cold drinks were strong and tasty. The muffins were delicious but the ice cream was incredible, especially the toasted coconut.

Our barista was wonderful in helping us navigate their exciting menu. They have something for all types of coffee lovers, and fun flavors that make excellent combinations. White chocolate and raspberry; highly recommend! She answered our questions and asked some of her own to make sure we got something we'd find truly delicious. The cafe itself is so cozy and is whimsically decorated. There is plenty of seating located in three different rooms. Please note there are no restrooms in the building.

I purchased an Iced caramel coffee with oat milk. I enjoyed the caramel flavor but the coffee seemd weak and watered down.

This building is such a fun stop when you’re walking around Jim Thorpe!

We LOVED this coffee shop—such a fun, unique little spot in Jim Thorpe!

The vibe alone is worth stopping in. The chandeliers, the decor, the whole aesthetic is just so cute and different from your typical coffee place. It feels cozy, a little whimsical, and honestly just makes you want to hang out and take it all in.

Everything we had was really good, and it was the perfect place to stop, relax, and recharge while walking around town.

This ended up being one of our favorite stops of the trip. If you’re in Jim Thorpe, you definitely need to check this place out! ☕✨💛

Avoid Curiosity Coffee House if you expect basic honesty or customer service. They failed to prepare our full order but confidently claimed everything was already given. When we asked them to verify using their camera, they refused and completely ignored us.
Instead of fixing their mistake, the staff acted unprofessional, dismissive, and even mocked us when we pointed out the issue. This wasn’t just a simple error—it was a complete lack of accountability and respect for customers.
If this is how they treat people over a small order issue, it says a lot about their standards. Be prepared to double-check everything you receive—or better yet, go somewhere
