We stopped here before heading to Jim Thorpe (which, by the way, was already packed at 10 a.m. — no parking anywhere!). The restaurant itself is small and nothing fancy, but it has such a warm and welcoming vibe. There were only two people running the place — taking orders and serving — so the food took a little longer than usual, but it was absolutely worth the wait.
I ordered the 222: 2 pancakes, 2 bacon strips, 2 sausage patties, and eggs. The pancakes were ginormous — literally the size of the plate — thick, fluffy, and delicious. Honestly, some of the best pancakes I’ve ever had, and I know my pancakes! The portions were very generous, and everything was cooked just right.
What stood out the most was how kind everyone was — both the staff and even the other customers. Coming from Baltimore, we’re not used to that level of friendliness, and it really made the meal even better.
So if you go, don’t expect anything fancy — just really good comfort food, big portions, and a genuinely nice atmosphere. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone passing through or visiting the area!

HORRIBLE!!! Visiting out of town. Arrived 12:10 pm. Lady at counter just looks at us with no greeting. We finally decide to rake a seat. 5 minutes later she yells at us Stopped serving! I said the reviews said open till 1pm. She said we close at 1 pm ...stop serving now! Every since we have been in PA everyone so so nice! Not here!!!

The food is good but the service is HORRIBLE! We’ve waited 45 mins for breakfast. After questioning the delay, I was finally told there was a party no one offered us toast or anything in the meantime. Then I found out is was only 7 people! Then the owner/server had the audacity to argue with me because of my wait.now I’m checking the bill , they overcharged us!!! Check your bill before you pay

The food was outstanding. The portions are large and the price was low. Unfortunately, it wasn't good enough to justify the hour wait time from when we ordered the food until we received our meals. It's a good thing we didn't have somewhere to go right afterwards.
The bill seamed a little higher than expected based on what we ordered, but at that point, I was more interested in going about the day than I was in arguing, so I just paid.
Cash only, but there's an ATM onsite.

We got an absolutely delicious breakfast here. Service was great and timely and the servings are huge! Pancakes are as big as the plate. I think a little cleaning would do the place some good, but we would absolutely stop here again.
We absolutely love this place! It’s a cozy, family-owned breakfast spot with genuinely friendly and fast service. The staff is always welcoming and helpful. The food is delicious—everything we’ve tried has been fresh and flavorful. Prices are very fair, especially for the quality. It’s one of our favorite local spots and a great way to start the day!
