This is a hidden gem that my Fiancee and I discovered when looking for somewhere to eat driving through the Poconos. The chicken was so fresh, the worker who made it was so kind and told us about some interesting things to do besides the obvious Jim Thorpe stuff. The food was incredible, the best fried chicken I've had in my life. The potato wedges were out of this world too, and they were battered like KFC's used to be (RIP).

As a bus driver I’ve eaten a little bit of everywhere! I will never forget this place!!! Omg this chicken is so good and I’m very particular about my chicken lol! It’s Krispy, krunchy, and juicy! The jambalaya could use some work. It was a little dry, but it was still delicious and when they brought me the Franks hot sauce, I almost lost my mind. If you’re ever in Jim Thorpe, Pennsylvania stop here. The Service for 33 of us was absolutely phenomenal Chef’s kiss.

Fried chicken that sits under warming lights. Crust was Krispy but tasted burnt. They were out of the red beans and rice so we settled for instant mashed potatoes and gravy. This is inside a small convenience store. Definitely would not go back.

The place looked closed. When we asked the worker if it was open, she said they only had fried chicken. We said we knew and were okay with that. So we sat down. We've been waiting for her to come, but she didn't. When we were walking out, she was moving the bottles in the fridge or smth. The thing was weird. It looked like the lady was high and didn't want to serve us.

This is hands down the greatest hidden gem in the area for cozy dining. People are great, food is phenomenal, and the prices are absolutely unbeatable. I’d put this up against any diner on the east coast!!Also their coffee is so good I drank it black ❤️

Chicken 🍗 is really good. The store is sort of sketchy. Has a city bodega feel in the middle of town. Staff are nice, it’s the patrons that hang around the place that are suspect.
