This was a beautiful place. They are only getting 4 stars because I feel their menu was a little limited with the drinks (except the wine selection) and they are a little pricey but, the ambiance is worth going for. They had a singer until 7pm and the staff was super friendly. You can't beat the view of Jim Thorpe, PA since you are on a very steep hill. Speaking of that hill, you need to be in halfway decent shape to walk to the mansion. The walk up the hill is almost straight...

My husband and I enjoy visiting the mansion for the relaxing atmosphere, beautiful view, and gorgeous architecture. The wonderful staff at the mansion make us feel like family. We got married at the mansion, and it was absolutely perfect. I highly recommend visiting the Harry Packer Mansion.
