Food excellent wine even better!
My friend and I went for dinner and everything was a BIG disappointment. From the food service, to the food , to using their fine dining utensils ( plastic knife and fork to paper plates). I ordered the Salmon burger and it looked like it came out of can and thrown between two buns. The two side orders cole slaw and and applesauce that came in tow small containers that just came out of their small refrigerator . My husband and I were in Jim Thorpe for a concert at the Opera House. We found the Mad Hatter by accident but so glad we did. Drinks were good (the dry red wine was delicious). The food looked and tasted amazing (we had a pulled pork sandwich and sides plus a brisket sandwich and sides.) The spicy crab soup was piping hot and the cheesecake was yummy! Our waitress was attentive to our needs. There was also a piano player for entertainment.
