Falafel Sandwich for the win. Nice atmosphere with multiple vegan options including Spanakopita, Gyro’s, and homemade Hummus.

I had the gyro the pita veggies and sauce was good but pork was overcooked hard and hard to chew and swallow bad experience for me I understand it’s fusion with the pork but tender is the way to go it was very bad ended up taking off all the pork and having the veggies lol

Cute location in a cute town. They have several vegan options but the vegan gyro is my favorite. They also have things like hummus, meatballs, and spanakopita. Their seasonal latte flavors were also able to be veganized.

The vegan gyro is so good and the price is great. The sauce they put on it is phenomenal. The “meat” is a mushroom pea protein. And it is sooo good. They also have a falafel pita, dolmas, hummus, and lattes / cappuccinos with non dairy milk.

The vegan gyro is phenomenal, I am lucky that I dont live in town or I'd be broke and fat from eating nothing but gyros all year..o. we also got a mango smoothie and a strawberry banana smoothie both were also amazing. They also said they are working on making more vegan desserts, we cant wait. We will be coming back regularly.

Vegetarian options: They have a good size vegan and vegetarian menu and are working on expanding it further.

Dietary restrictions: We are vegan and they worked with us to make the smoothies vegan.

Really delicious vegan options! We had the vegan gyro, vegan spanakopita, dolmades, and vegan meatballs and a fig cardamom latte. Everything was super tasty, especially the vegan gyro. The atmosphere was really comfy and enjoyable and the staff were great! Overall it was a great experience and I’m excited to return!

Warm, modern décor, with a nice vibe and great customer service! We had a wonderful breakfast and picked up sandwiches for our lunch. I can't say enough about the quality of the food---fresh, delicious, and perfectly prepared. This included the fig cardamom latte with house-made fig syrup! Made just right without overly sweet ingredients. Yum! "The Local" breakfast sandwich--fresh, local Kennett mushrooms, Greek feta, & egg in a toasted pita--was so delicious and filling. We also purchased sandwiches to go--mine was the chicken basil aioli on sourdough bread. It was amazing even after sitting in a take-out container for a few hours! The staff were friendly, helpful, and very accommodating. We fell in love with this place and plan to return to Kennett Square to enjoy another meal at Cafe Emis! Thank you to the staff and friendly owner!

Café Emís is my favorite place to go whenever I'm in the area or on my way to Longwood Gardens. The breakfast and coffee are fantastic. I always get the milos sandwich, and a pumpkin latte during the autumn season. Honestly, I would make the 2-hour trip here just to eat lol. It's really good. Highly recommend.
Every time I've been there, the employees are so sweet and kind. One time when I was there and it was super busy, the food took a little while to come out (which I didn't mind at all!). One of the employees came over and brought over honey cookies on the house- so thoughtful! Love coming here and can't wait to be back.

I recently ordered the vegan gyro and I have waited my whole life for this. Though I'm not a vegan, I do not eat meat and typically the only available substitution for the lamb/pork in a gyro is falafel. While still delicious, it's just not the same. However, the vegan gyro here had thinly sliced 'meat' just like a traditional gyro would and it was ridiculously tasty. I've had a few of their salads and they are also consistently very good with quality ingredients and nice portions. The staff is always extremely friendly and the restaurant is clean, updated and welcoming. I can't wait to inhale my next vegan gyro.
