We just stopped in on a whim and picked up a selection of pies and a quiche to try. My husband is a quiche snob and he said this was the best he’s ever had- he got the caramelized onion, bacon, and gruyere one! We took a bite of the pies and we are blown away at how delicious they are. The butter tart was phenomenal. So tasty! We will be back for sure and I can’t wait to bring these to parties!!

Late posting this but ordered two quiches for Christmas spinach and feta was amazing, the bacon broccoli cheese as a close second. Whole family was disappointed with pumpkin pie … we are huge PP fans and the flavor on this was not good and bland…it was a let down spending 30$+ for it as a cheaper and tastier pie can be bought at grocery store. I prefer to support small business but I will stick w the quiches.

Awesome! Finally ordered and so happy I did. We will now be frequent customers. We had a savory quiche (delicious), apple/berry pie (amazing) and two types of cookies that went in minutes. Everything was delicious and we highly recommend. Fairly priced as well. Super customer service, you really can't go wrong here.

Really terrific pies and cookies! Apple pie, pumpkin pie, cheesy potato savory pie, chocolate chip cookies and more. Lovely staff. Wish we lived closer.

Staff was very knowledgeable about ingredients and the best way to thaw and bake.

Came the Mushroom event and my wife without me being with her purchased two pies. I will not review and say they were not good but 11.00 for two key hole size items. A total disgrace. Would never ever purchase again. It was her fault…did not realize until too late. Total total rip of company. Never recommend.

The crust... My god the crust. It's almost too perfect, it defies logic, it breaks my brain, I simply don't know how it's possible. So flakey and crispy and delicious. Top 5 in the COUNTRY, people. This place is not a fluke, it's not just hype, and you must try it to believe.

Absolutely amazing pies, cookies, quiches and frittatas. Everything is delicious, you cannot go wrong. No question - it’s worth it.

Molly and her team provide such superb quality in their products - the crust is perfection, all of the ingredients are from local purveyors and taste so fresh, and their service is always organized and professional.

Everything was delicious! We walked by our first day in Kennett Square and got 1 savory and 1 sweet pie. After that we ordered in advance for the rest of our stay. Friendly service and very happy to talk about what's available.

$26.00 for a not fully baked apple pie with bland apples during apple season. Really?

I got one 9" chicken pot pie (I ate), two small blackberry buttermilk (I ate one), small sour cherry french toast (as a gift), and one small sour cherry crumb (as a gift).

The blackberry buttermilk was great! I'd order it again in a heartbeat. Luckily, my kids weren't a fan, so more for me. Don't trust my kids...they don't know what they're talking about. I would go back for another sweet pie.

But I was honestly disappointed with the chicken pot pie. Maybe my expectations were too high from previous reviews, but it wasn't any better than what I can get in the grocery store. It was expensive ($35), but I don't mind that so much, since it's more than a meal for my family. Flavor was average, nothing particularly special, but that's not necessarily a bad thing for a comfort food. The texture wasn't what I expect from a chicken pot pie. It was too dry, like they used too much flour in the filling. A chicken pot pie filling is supposed to be more liquid so that it can be scooped up and paired with with a crispy crust. The crust was tasty, but undercooked on the bottom, despite following all reheating instructions.

At $35 a pop, I'm hesitant to give the savory pies another try. The options looked really interesting, so I might. I'd have another sweet pie again though, and I might return next time I'm in Kennett Square.

The owner and staff are always very friendly. The pies and cookies are delicious. My favorites are the lavender cookies and curry pie. Stop by to Nomadic Pies, you won't be disappointed!
