Everything was delicious! We walked by our first day in Kennett Square and got 1 savory and 1 sweet pie. After that we ordered in advance for the rest of our stay. Friendly service and very happy to talk about what's available.

$26.00 for a not fully baked apple pie with bland apples during apple season. Really?
I got one 9" chicken pot pie (I ate), two small blackberry buttermilk (I ate one), small sour cherry french toast (as a gift), and one small sour cherry crumb (as a gift).
The blackberry buttermilk was great! I'd order it again in a heartbeat. Luckily, my kids weren't a fan, so more for me. Don't trust my kids...they don't know what they're talking about. I would go back for another sweet pie.
But I was honestly disappointed with the chicken pot pie. Maybe my expectations were too high from previous reviews, but it wasn't any better than what I can get in the grocery store. It was expensive ($35), but I don't mind that so much, since it's more than a meal for my family. Flavor was average, nothing particularly special, but that's not necessarily a bad thing for a comfort food. The texture wasn't what I expect from a chicken pot pie. It was too dry, like they used too much flour in the filling. A chicken pot pie filling is supposed to be more liquid so that it can be scooped up and paired with with a crispy crust. The crust was tasty, but undercooked on the bottom, despite following all reheating instructions.
At $35 a pop, I'm hesitant to give the savory pies another try. The options looked really interesting, so I might. I'd have another sweet pie again though, and I might return next time I'm in Kennett Square.

We stopped in on a Saturday med-afternoon after hearing how good these pies are. We got a small apple crumb pie and a cookie to go. Sorry no pic of the cookie but rest assured it was very good. The staff were all friendly. The place was cute. We took the pie home but didn’t eat it right away and it was still very good after a couple of days. The apples were local and tasted fresh. We liked that the pie was not overly sweetened. We would return to try another flavor. I’m sure her savory pies are delicious.
Parking: Street parking. I don’t remember if there were meters but they were free if so.

Great pot pies. If you have not tried this, I recommend it if you like pot pies or just pies. The chicken pot pie easily feeds 4 of us with left overs. You may think it is expensive for a pie but it is worth it.

We bought 3 savory pies and one fruit pie to supplement our Christmas dinner! They became the centerpiece. We were familiar with "the goods" and they have never disappointed! They went the extra mile to get us frozen pies in time because we ordered too late for the Christmas rush. The associate was literally skating across the wooden floors from freezer to vacuum sealer and then to cash register to take care of us!The pies are outrageous: chicken pot; bison chili and root vegetables. Root vegetables is my new favorite.Bravo Nomadic Pies and thank you!
Vegetarian options: You have not lived until you taste the root vegetable pie!

OMG best pie shop. Hand pies are amazing. Crumb apple pie is to die for. Cookies are also good. The quiche is the best I have ever had!! Mini pies are the perfect serving with the best filling to crust ratio!
The pies were delicious looking but not delicious to eat. The crust was chewy, fruit was arguably too tart, and the raw oats on top were nothing to write home about. Would not purchase again.
