Cafe Emís Reviews
Great place for Greek food, desserts, and, of course, Greek coffee! I am Greek, and I haven't been able to find a place in the States that offers “Freddo Cappuccino”. Yesterday, I did! Excellent flavor!
I have had food both eat in and take out. I have had amazing experiences each time. The hummus and pita are out of this world. I usually get a med bowl and have changed the protein each time, and each time it was incredible. Tonight I got the meatballs as my protein not knowing what to expect. Amazing doesn’t describe it. Cafe Emís is a quaint little café in Kennet Square that should not be missed. It is a very nice place to grab breakfast or lunch without a long wait time. The staff is wonderful, very attentive, friendly, and amazing. The food is fresh, delicious, and unbelievable. The coffee is excellent and perfect. The Greek coffee is really good for those who like strong coffee. Meals include the Falafel bowl, which is incredibly delicious, the BLT, a breakfast sandwich, Greek yogurt parfait, the gyro, dolmades, falafel pita, chicken souvlaki, and Mediterranean Wrap. For those with dietary needs, the belly comfort drink and GF Halvah helped with jet lag symptoms. The café also offers vegan options, and when a guest mentioned no vegan dessert, the staff brought a piece of halvah. This experience is outstanding and uplifting, with a lot of cafes struggling with espresso, customer service, or food, but Cafe Emís does all three perfectly.
