Bad. I didn't read the reviews until too late. I don't care about service (it was gruff) but the food was embarrassing. I got vermicelli with "chargrilled" pork and an iced coffee. The pork was gray and had clearly never seen any kind of grill or fire. Normally, Vietnamese coffee is served with a phin and the condensed milk is separate. I watched the owner pour my serving from a dispenser--tasted like high fructose corn syrup and coffee flavoring.
Delicious food, great service and an interesting atmosphere combine to make a unique dining experience that I'd recommend too anyone. I got the barbecue pork chops and broken rice. The pork was tender and moist with an excellent savory flavor, and the rice was done perfectly. My companions had the lemongrass pork pho, the chicken pho, and beef fried rice. The food was great. We ordered brisket pho, and it did not disappoint. The restroom was clean. Our server was attentive. Our food came out right away. I'm surprised by the bad reviews. We had an excellent experience here.
