I was greeted promptly upon arrival and was told I would be seated once my party arrived. I was sitting in the lobby for about 10 minutes with a gift bag in hand to celebrate a childhood friends 50th birthday. We told her she could pick any place and she choose the Melting Pot expressing it's her favorite special occasion restaurant! To my parties disappointment the server never acknowledged our friend's birthday. No one inquired if we were celebrating anything; I did note we were celebrating a birthday in my reservation so I thought perhaps the restaurant was keeping it a surprise! I should have known they dropped the ball when I didn't see a birthday card at the table. But I was hoping it was just an oversight and something extra special was to come during dessert! Then dessert came and there was still no acknowledgment; to our surprise the restaurant staff failed to look in the reservation to see If we were celebrating a special occasion. There are so many other restaurants to choose from through opentable that take the time to look at guest reservations and note occasions and make a special occasion special! Shame on you KOP Melting Pot!

A Celebration Of Love was the occasion for a gathering of the Team honoring our new Bride To Be & our group enjoyed steaming pots of traditional cheddar fondue and a gruyere fondue with breads and veggies for dipping. I chose the California salad pictured & loved the candied walnuts with the tangy goat cheese. We had the traditional chocolate and crunchy peanut butter and the flaming turtle chocolate pots. Our server, John, set both pots of flaming turtle afire for a table display and repeatedly offered additional dippables, like pound cake, fruits, and brownies to dip in the warm melted chocolate pots. The entire experience was enjoyable & recommended for large or intimate gatherings. They are tucked away just off mall Blvd by a hotel, so make sure you use the GPS to find your way if you have never been there before. The interior is kind of dark, but there is plenty of seating. There is plenty of parking outside as well. They offer different course packages that you can make selections from their list of choices. I'd definitely go there again.

Amazing experience you will not receive at any other reaturant! The staff were exceptionally nice, and I have great memories of this place. 10/10 recommend thoroughly for those looking for a gourmet restaurant for a special occasion. Just be aware it is quite expensive, but absolutely worth the price for that special occasion.
