“Great cozy bed and breakfast. Staying here out of town for work, unbeatable prices ; $120 for 1 weeks stay. If you’re working night shift I’d reccomend you bring ear plugs as the walls are thin and people come in bright and early. Other than that it’s very hard to beat!”

“My Husband and I stop here whenever we're heading south on vacation (we live about 1 hour's drive north). It's usually for breakfast. This time we went for dinner. As always, service was spot on, we didn't wait long for our order to be taken and our food came out VERY quickly. My Husband had the pot roast dinner and I had a Lent special, shrimp and scallops scampi. No disappointment there. The food was amazing!!!

“When they first opened I was not impressed but just recently tried d them again and was very pleased. I get the half sheet with pepperoni, mushrooms and onions. It was excellent. The mushrooms are fresh and that makes all the difference.”

“I can honestly say, I don’t think I’ve ever had a better fried haddock sandwich, a better drink, or better service than today. The food was amazing (this sandwich was massive! It filled both Adam and I!), and the bartender (Jared) was not only super friendly and social, but he also gave amazing recommendations on drinks, and was super attentive and overall one of the best bartenders I’ve ever been around! I will definitely be returning to Green Gables again.”

“A pleasant treasure that I have overlooked over the years on Route 29 in South Montrose. I was pleasantly surprised with the quality and size of the Texas burgers, at a very reasonable price. I even got a tasty funnel cake to top it off.”

Unfortunately forgot to catch her name I was so caught up on the pizza! If anyone is in the area to go to their shack you NEED TO GO HERE! You won’t regret it, prices are also reasonable.
