We live locally and either eat at or order out from Cherrys quite often. At times things can be hit or miss but definitely more of a hit than a miss. I’ve seen some bad reviews online and I have to say that the select few people who have posted a negative review had a one time bad experience or they happend to eat there on just a rare bad day. Im sure their reviews and opinions are valid but as everyone has bad days so do restaurant, their staff and their cook. I recommend giving it another try because overall their staff and food is usually quite great. I love their broiled haddock, burgers, soups and appetizers the most and my son swears by their spaghtetti and meatballs. Overall this is a great place for family dinners or for just drinks and appetizers with a friend and they are always willing to substitute one thing for another or make your meal to your specifications and liking. If u have a bad experience at Cherrys it’s a rare event and I definitely recommend giving it another try before posting a negative review. My family loves to eat at Cherrys and I’d recommend it to anyone any day.

We were there for a quiet late breakfast on the weekend. I had the blueberry stuffed French toast and it was really yummy. The restaurant was not crowded at all.

** This place is under new ownership and is now called "Cherry's Sunset Restaurant and Bar" **SUMMARY: Pros include decent food and excellent service. Cons include some frozen food items, upcharge on items greater than the price difference, and a manager / owner that is more concerned with the bar than the restaurant.My overall rating is lower than my individual ratings due to the inclusion frozen food items (even when the menu advertises fresh) and lack of customer service by the manager.FULL REVIEW: I decided to come to the restaurant for dinner with two guests. The menus advertise the new owners and that all the food is fresh. I have been here before and know that the restaurant was previously focused on the bar for locals. I have always gone for full dinner service and it has been okay. This time, my experience has been different.To start, Kaylee, the server was absolutely fantastic and attentive throughout the service. Three dinner entrees were ordered Chicken Parmesan, Meatloaf, and the Crab cakes over shrimp. The crab cakes were part of a dinner special that comes with two sides. Any of the sides priced at $3.95 were included. If any of the other sides marked at $4.50 were chosen, it was a $1.50 UPCHARGE for a 55 cents difference. While this may seem petty, we decided to pay the upcharge.The soups and salad were exceptionally good. The entrees came out and they all tasted fresh. We tasted the pierogis and they tasted frozen. I asked Kaylee to ask the chef if they were frozen. She came back and told me they were FROZEN, but used to be made fresh until recently. I asked for the upcharge to be removed. All interactions with the manager had to be done through Kaylee as the manager refused to come to the table and talk to us. Furthermore, the dinner came with TWO sides, but the manager asked Kaylee to take the side and not provide another. Essentially, it was an entrée with one side.With the bar being crowded, the kitchen was backed up. The manager spent all her time over at the bar area and very little time in the restaurant. Overall, I recommend that if you are looking for a local bar with some decent bar food, then Cherry's is a good spot. There are some select good dishes, but the restaurant is definitely not the focus. Also, ask ahead of time which foods are fresh and which is frozen.

Cherry's used to be really good. It was a favorite place for breakfast. The staff was older women who were seriously on top of it. Not sure what the change was; they added alcohol, the wait staff is mostly young girls now who don't even offer coffee refills, and the food is meh, at best. We wanted breakfast, they weren't serving breakfast. Then they gave me a special menu, and when I ordered from it, they told me oh, we don't serve from that menu today. I changed my order. The French onion soup was spicy. ?? The French dip meat was bloody and mostly fat. Took leftovers home and asked for a cup for the au jus. Nope. Walked away with a styrofoam coffee cup covered in plastic wrap.

This food is disgusting my food had crunchy rice with oil and a lil bit of meat and when we complained all we asked for is toast then and then she gave us burt toast that's gross I feel sick now.
